At Bidar Institute of Medical Sciences (BRIMS Bidar), a first-year Medicine resident was attacked by 5–6 attendants inside the casualty while on duty last night, reportedly merely for initiating an MLC as part of medico-legal protocol. The most disturbing part: there was reportedly not even a single security guard present to protect the doctor.
