@Rupper17 Ruper- lets talk about Minnesota’s lack of winning face-offs. It’s a huge advantage to Dallas and why they’ve had so much control.

@hlrule Losing sucks but what happened to showing class, accepting your second place medals (and not tossing them away in front of everyone) accepting your trophy and then the coaches and team leaders take a few minutes to answer questions. Bad look by Minnetonka!

Thank you for all the kind words. It’s been an amazing Olympics. I’ll move on with a fun clip from history: 4th OT of Shamrock Tournament Final in Waterford, MI. Right after this diving save his team scored the winning goal. He’s been training for Gold for years.

@WUTangKids It's funny that people are just discovering that hockey players suck. Hockey has always been the most toxic of jock cultures.

Can these hockey morons be any more tone deaf "It's sad that it's getting politicized"….you are the idiots that politicized it by having Patel in your locker room and then taking Trump’s call and laughing at the women’s team with him

ICE has spent the past two months racially profiling Minnesotans. And during my oversight visit to the Whipple building yesterday, I demanded that they make a change and get their untrained agents off our streets. Kristi Noem’s DHS has inflicted lasting trauma on our communities. I won’t stop pushing for accountability.

Before people judge what’s happening today, let’s be honest about what the last 4 years actually left behind. You can’t fix a problem if you pretend it doesn’t exist. Under Joe Biden, Americans didn’t just “feel” economic pain - the data proves it. Inflation hit a 40-year high of 9.1% in June 2022. Real wages declined for 18 straight months - meaning people were working just as hard but getting poorer. Grocery prices rose over 20% cumulatively, with essentials like eggs and meat spiking even higher. Gas prices peaked above $5 per gallon nationally. Mortgage rates jumped from ~3% to over 7%, doubling borrowing costs for families trying to buy a home. That’s not “theory.” That’s a direct hit to everyday Americans. Then look at the border. Encounters exceeded 2.4 million in 2023 alone - the highest ever recorded. That put pressure on housing, schools, healthcare, and local budgets across the country. And energy? The U.S. went from energy stability to volatility - canceling pipelines, restricting domestic production, and increasing reliance on foreign supply at the worst possible time. Now fast forward. Under Donald Trump, the focus has shifted back to fundamentals. Tariffs are bringing revenue back - over $190 billion collected in 2025 - while pushing companies to rethink offshoring. Border enforcement is reducing illegal crossings and reasserting control over the labor market. Inflation has cooled to around 2–3%, stabilizing after the surge. Energy production is ramping back up, reducing reliance on foreign sources and putting downward pressure on long-term costs. This is what correction looks like. You don’t undo inflation overnight. You don’t rebuild supply chains in a year. You don’t fix a broken border with speeches. You reverse course. You reset incentives. You rebuild the foundation. The last administration expanded government, spending, and dependency - and Americans paid for it through higher costs. This administration is focused on production, control, and independence. Short-term adjustments are real. But the alternative is going back to the same policies that caused the damage in the first place. That’s not leadership. That’s denial.
