I got & blocked 3x robo call numbers TODAY from “debt review” companies - the last one even had the nerve to claim “you have been selected by your bank to pay less on your debts”. Something has to be done about this harassment of the SA consumer @NCRegulator @InforegulatorSA

I’ve had two more since this tweet. On Threads, people are telling me they routinely get 5-10 a day. @InforegulatorSA

I’m on the Do Not Contact list @SA_DMA maintains. But these companies aren’t members so it doesn’t apply. I’ve blocked 3x human caller and 3x robocall numbers this past WEEK. And my debt? Almost zilch. They’re blindly calling people, & lying to them about “being selected”.
