Decided late last night to do a 100,000m (100km) erg this morning as you do. Tough going but chuffed with the result. 40 mins off my previous PB from lockdown. 7hrs and 6mins of torture! Now to replenish those 6000 calories!!

Just completed the first 5k test of the season. A PB, just! So I thought I’d have fun and enter my time in the Concept 2 Logbook rankings, only to discover the *machine* that is @jackie_bt is almost 2 minutes faster than me! Then again, she is No 1 in the world by 10s…

@hwallop I really didn't like it. I found it confusing and irritating, and it took me a while to work out what it was they were trying to do...All those changing images. No problem with the strapline.

I really need to try and clean my ergo before next season starts as it was making a lot of rattling noises in the run up to Henley. Any advice on how to do it/ not break it. I think I've worked out how to get the cover off but not much else
