3x NYT Bestselling author of WHAT KIND OF WOMAN, I HOPE THIS FINDS YOU WELL, & AND YET. Also found in the @newyorker & @lithub. HOW ABOUT NOW out 11/4.
Not sure who's still over here, but I have a new book of poetry out 11/4 that I'm psyched about. It probably won't help the fall of mankind, but pre-ordering your fav authors' books WILL help the fall of publishing and help preserve non-AI art. Doesn't have to be my book!

As someone forever in awe of what our minds do with language—and what language, in turn, does with our minds—of how thought emerges through linguistic intentionality, I find it increasingly difficult to make sense of how easily we have chosen to outsource this part of ourselves.
Day 8 of National Poetry Month is Issue 3 of POSTCARD, in which I am super excited to have a new poem! Thanks to David Wojciechowski for including me and for curating this gorgeous and wonderfully shareable journal! ♥️
Lord, I confess I want the clarity of catastrophe but not the catastrophe.
