@DCDoc33 I tested negative but have cold symptoms have worn my mask everywhere today. Even outside. I'm going to test Wednesday. I had a low key week last week & I'm being cautious. Praying it's just a cold. How long after exposure are people getting symptoms? How long after does + show?

@RanaAwdish My sister would ship me the yogurt ones from Germany and I figured that was just a nice high-protein snack.

Rationalizing this as breakfast food due to the embedded cornflakes is completely reasonable and I will not be taking questions.

Attention person sending my boyfriend chocolate-covered strawberries on Friday night (while he isn’t home so I have to accept it): sign your name with the note, please. My imagination knows no bounds. 😅

As my 10yo got his @pfizer vaccine tonight he was nervous but kept whispering his (high risk) best friend’s name over and over. And I have zero regrets that my kid was scared and yet did something out of love for another person anyways.

This is why we all panicked when RBG died. In case anyone was wondering.

Today the first #transplant patients in the US will receive FDA-authorized #COVID #vaccine #booster doses in our @NIH-funded interventional trial. Excited to learn more about how to protect our vulnerable immunosuppressed patients, friends, and family from this awful virus.

I just left the ER. We are officially back to getting crushed by COVID-19. Delta Variant is running rampant and it’s MUCH more transmissible than the original virus. 99% of our ICU admits did NOT receive a vaccine. Virtually ALL of them wish they had.

@LeilaniRGraham Do you think a physician would prefer to have their colleague tell them they have cancer and prevent them from reading their own results? 😂

Called a patient today to tell them their colonoscopy biopsies showed cancer. Patient already knew—got an automated alert earlier in the day and read the results on the online medical record. At home, alone. This new law granting access to test results is a BIG problem.
