NEED YOUR INPUT FOR A WORKSHOP: You do any kind of discipleship online? For ex, I lead Bible study in a FB group! Do you "meet" w/other people for prayer, mentoring, Scripture memory, accountability, Bible study, etc virtually? If so, where? How's it work? THANKS IN ADVANCE

@KathyHHoward I use the index card method. Use larger size. Write 1-3 verses on one side, flip card over and write only the first letter of each word for those verses. Include capitalization and punctuation. Any words Jesus spoke get written in red ink. Yes. The message is internalized!

Curious… do you read the Bible outside church? If so, how often and how do you decide what to read?

Today is the anniversary of Elvis’ death. Ya’ll I actually saw Elvis in concert in the 70s! My parents took our whole family. Very vivid memory for me! It was his sequined jumpsuit days.

@KathyHHoward I do almost daily. I usually use some type of Bible study. Currently doing one on the names of God.

@scribbler2854 I love that you’re memorizing a whole chapter! I took almost two years to memorize the 4 chapters of Philippians. Such hard work for me but I really internalized that amazing book. It did kind of wear me out. I need to get back to memorizing

@KathyHHoward Hi, Kathy. I use different versions. I usually decide what to read because of recent discussions or questions. Or nourishment. For peace, I love to read a Psalm morning and in evening. I copy Bible books Mark and Luke, working on those. Memorizing Mark 1.

@KathyHHoward Yes. Most days. I read the Bible through, but not in a year. I switch back and forth between OT and NT. Genesis, then Matthew, etc. Usually a chapter a day, sometimes more or less depending on chapter length and content.

@KathyHHoward Daily...reading he Scripture that goes with whatever devotional I'm doing.
