Every new leader who assumes a position previously occupied by someone else encounters a common challenge: they must address the achievements of their predecessor. The first such encounter for the new administration is the launch of a new website for @Surreyheath . This project was in development for several months and was led by the previous @Conservatives administration. According to the press release issued, it’s clear that an attempt has been made to create the illusion that this work was accomplished in just a mere few weeks by the new @SurreyHeathLDs administration. - It is wise for any new leader to recognise that a competent leader should establish a clear distinction between the past and the future. Unfortunately, many incoming leaders tend to achieve this by disregarding their predecessors completely, which seems to be the case in this situation. So come on, leave the coat-tails be. We’re all waiting with baited breath to see what innovation & development you’re going to bring to our wonderful borough.
