UKRAINE: US Senators are actively working on legislation to punish Hungary for not sending money to Ukraine. Democrat Jeanne Shaheen and Thom Tillis, co-chairs of the Senate Nato observer group are blocking the SAVE Act and blocking ICE/CBP funding, and instead working to fund Zelensky.

Zelenskyy: People keep saying Ukraine can't win because Russia is nuclear power. Then what security guarantees should Ukraine get to counterbalance nuclear state? NATO? Nuclear weapons?
If so, just say it directly: "We will give you NATO membership and a nuclear deterrent." But no one has offered that.
What frustrates me most is that no one speaks to Russia with the same urgency: "Russia, you must back down, compromise, and end this war now, because people are dying."
As you see, no one talks to them like that.

At the annual American conservative CPAC conference last week, she explained to the audience that Russia is oppressing and killing Christians, especially Ukrainian Christians.
She gets it. If you support Ukraine, you might want to boost her voice.

President Trump has the power to convene the Senate under Article II, Section 3 of the Constitution “on extraordinary Occasions.”
If a department with 260,000 employees (DHS) going unfunded isn’t an “extraordinary occasion”—especially while the Senate is out on a two-week recess during that shutdown with no plans to resolve the impasse beyond “we’ll deal with that in two weeks”—I don’t know what is.

A tense exchange broke out at the G7 meeting between Kaja Kallas and Marco Rubio. The EU’s top diplomat accused the U.S. of not putting enough pressure on Russia.
Kallas reminded that a year ago Washington promised stronger measures if Moscow stalled the peace process.
“A year has passed — nothing has changed. When will your patience run out?” she asked.
According to Axios, Rubio responded sharply and with irritation.
He said the U.S. is doing everything possible and suggested Europeans try themselves if they think they can do better.
Other ministers had to step in to defuse the situation.

JUST IN: 🚨🚨 The "No Kings" mob is terrorizing and harassing local business owners in Memphis.
A group calling itself "The Free the 901 Campaign" is blackmailing local businesses - either renounce the Memphis Safe Task Force or face a boycott. And any business that serves someone in uniform will also face a boycott.
Local businesses are being told they must "renounce your support" for the task force and also "commit to refuse service to uniformed agents."
Earlier today they went into businesses on Beale Street and handed out flyers to employees telling them why they were boycotting their establishments.
"We are not aware of any public retraction of your business's support for the task force," the flyer read. For this reason, our campaign is boycotting your business and others who have publicly supported the task force."
This group is nothing more than an economic terrorist organization.
Feel free to reach out directly to the "non-profits" that are waging this boycott: MICAH, Black Voters Matter, Memphis for All, Indivisible Memphis, The Equity Alliance, ACLU Tennessee, Decarcerate Memphis - among others.

Senate leadership sent notice of the DHS bill at 12:55am. Then a voice vote was held at 2:19am.
The notice said, “with a substitute amendment” and gave no description of the substitute.
The legislative language of the substitute was not sent around to GOP Senate staff. (Idk about Dems.)
If you’re a staffer watching your email at that hour (some were!) you had to request the language of the bill. Track down leadership staff to find out how quickly this is moving. Try to read and understand it quickly. Understand how it changed from the original. Get your boss on the phone and explain it. Talk to other staffers to figure out if there’s a coalition to block it — they don’t know — their boss is trying to decide what to do too. Whoops, your one hour is up, the bill is passing and nothing you can do.
Purposefully sneaky. They can do this kind of maneuver to not fund immigration enforcement. They would never dream of doing it for your priorities.

And you pay enough attention to the amazing organizers who have been on the ground, who actually have the information, who have already done the work, instead of starting your own [group]... you need to be the pack mule."
