I think it’s worth stating- if you don’t like the price model, boycott the damn set. This is biblical greed from Konami and whaling on it is just going to reinforce this price for future products.

I think this is the most per card Konami TCG has charged in a Yu-Gi-Oh booster pack. I remember the number one complaint about Rarity Collection 2 was "$10 a pack!? NO THANKS!!" but this is even more expensive but with the most anticipated cards in maybe a decade plus

@El_capybarabe @TrevorAllenMD They definitely did, Legendary Fisherman being playable in Umi deck, Jinzo being named Jinzo in GY, these were intended to be usable elsewhere, you just wouldn’t use it (except maybe Jinzo, cause that archetype has nothing at all)

@TrevorAllenMD They didn’t try to support Jounouchi adjacent decks, but simply made a brand new deck. Just like how Ritual of Light And Darkness isn’t DM support nor is it Chaos support.
Dark Time Wizard is quite mid as an archetype, but let’s not be in bad faith when it comes to it.

@Vegabon61793153 @ygorganization Jinzo actually has good protection since, if I'm reading it correctly, Effect #3 doesn't need to be activated & locks opponent from activating Spell, Monster, and Trap Effects.
I can see Jinzo Time Wizard being Good Techs for other archetypes now too, need to see testing though.
