@MoxeeMeg Also...I never said "all non SAHMs are bonkers". I SAID all feminists are bonkers. And I stand by that.

@KatyLMA You either had a husband paying the bills or were/are independently wealthy. Some women lose their husbands to death & illness or married poorly. It’s up to her to pay the bills. Nothing wrong w/ feminist idea of equal pay for equal work.Nor are all non SAHMs “bonkers”.

I love being a housewife. I raised my children, homeschooled them, spend time with grandchildren and have freedom to exercise when I want, garden, do housework and any hobbies I want to do. Feminists are bonkers!
Jane Caro@JaneCaro

Many women do not want to ‘stay home’. It’s boring, repetitive and you are an unpaid servant. It also predisposes you to poverty if your husband gets bored & dumps you. Also, women have outperformed men in education for a century. Maybe you guys should stay home.

@MoxeeMeg I believe your mom did what she could...and kudos to her. But she shouldn't have had to. Feminism broke the whole system down. Men don't take care of women like they used to because we told them we're strong without them. Your life wasn't improved by feminism...it was hurt by it.

@KatyLMA No need to clarify. You lived a happy life of your choice. We also did not have luxury or vacation being working poor one parent home.

@MoxeeMeg Thank Feminism for that. Prior to feminism there were structures for widows and women who were left by their husbands. We didn't have to do it alone. Now it's all a free for all because "we don't need no man". Now people can barely get by without 2 incomes...thanks to feminism.

@MoxeeMeg @rootcausesleuth Have you really looked into the women who pushed feminist beliefs? They wanted to break down the family. There is SO much more than equal work/equal pay. Feminism has destroyed so much...

@rootcausesleuth @KatyLMA The core belief that women and men deserve equal rights and opportunities (including pay) was its central theme when I was young. There are now different branches from radical to traditional but at its core yes.

@LivingGodsTruth I agree with you. We didn't do Easter Bunny, Santa, tooth fairy etc with our kids. I was pretty anti-egg hunts most of our children's growing up years but my mom insisted so we did them anyway. (my parents think my husband & I are sticks in the mud). We say Resurrection Day too.

I took my daughter to a pediatrician for our very first visit with them and while one of the members of the team were taking care of my daughter she asked: "What are you doing for Easter?" Me: "We're going to be at church." Her: "Are you ready to go on a Easter egg treasure hunt?" (My daughter looks like what is that) Me: "No, we won't be doing that." Her: "What are you going to church to do?" Me: "Worship Jesus and His resurrection. We call it #ResurrectionSunday" Her: "(Genuinely surprised) Oh ok, what's the name of your church?" Me: (Says the name of our church) Her: "Hmm, I never heard of it." (Said in a way to communicate yeah, yall must be different) I was not able to share more with this medical technician, but it was obvious she thought not having an Easter egg hunt was strange. She might not have been a Christian, but the expectation is for treasure hunts, bunnies, eggs, and fun to be the draw for Sunday, not honor, glory, and worship of the resurrected Christ. What's the priority at your church this Sunday?

My hot take is that young men who cannot afford for their significant other to stay home feel emasculated and it's much easier to insist that women are bitches then it is to actually fix what killed the middle class.

@BabeP84 My husband says one of his favorite things is just to watch our chickens run. Even if you're in a bad mood you can't help but laugh! Funny little things!
