As a Catholic, imagine if the mass looked like a mega church service where the music is blasting, spirits are high, etc. Imagine you walk into mass today, but instead of silence, and reflection, there's lights, music, a full band, people clapping. Energy is high, preaching is motivating. You feel inspired. You leave thinking, that was amazing. Here's a question I have to ask you. Did you provide true sacrificial worship, or were you entertained - Hebrews 12:28 says, therefore let us be grateful for receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken. And thus let us offer to God acceptable worship with reverence and awe, for our God is a consuming fire. The Holy mass was never designed to impress you, it was designed to offer something: A sacrifice. Not ours... His. At mass, you're not watching something happen. You're stepping into something eternal. The same sacrifice of Jesus Christ, made present, not repeated... Present. Worship requires sacrifice, and it always has. So that's why the mass is quiet. That's why it's reverent. That's why it doesn't change based on what we like, because it's not about us. And if it were, we'd redesign it. But we'd lose something. We'd lose the mystery, we'd lose the weight, the reality that you're standing on holy ground. Because the mass isn't trying to move your emotions. It's trying to transform your soul. The moment you realize that, it becomes monumental. That is because you stopped asking, did I get anything out of this? And you started asking, what did I offer to Him?

You will be a saint or you will be nothing. There is no middle ground. There is no "good enough." There is no "someday." The final battle is here. And it's being fought in your bedroom, on your phone, in your thoughts — RIGHT NOW.

So stop being afraid of him. Stop tolerating your sin. Stop praying like a coward and start fighting like a son of God. Get angry. Go to war. Let that anger crush every disordered desire in you in Jesus' name.

1 John 4:4: "He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world." If Christ dwells in you, the devil and ALL his armies are afraid of you. As long as you will fight. He's on a leash. A short one. Held by Christ Himself.

And here's the part that should set you free: The devil is TERRIFIED of a man who fights ferociously. St. Thérèse, as a child, dreamed of demons. She simply looked at them. They ran. Hid. Cowered. Why?

Jesus Himself said: "The kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent bear it away (Mt 11:12)." Cold showers. Sleeping on the floor. Fasting. Mortification. The men who get to heaven are the ones willing to do violence to their flesh.

You must do the same. You must look at your lust and HATE it. Not tolerate it. Not "manage" it. Not negotiate with it. Hate it the way Christ hated the sin of the moneychangers in His Father's house.

There are two kinds of anger: → Antecedent: emotion runs you (sinful, hotheaded) → Consequent: reason commands the emotion (holy, powerful) Christ flipping tables in the temple? Consequent anger. He chose it. He controlled it. He used it as a weapon.

St. Thomas Aquinas calls this "zealous anger." St. Gregory goes further: "He who is not angry whereas he has cause to be, sins." Unreasonable patience with your own vice is a HOTBED for more vice.

Here's the missing piece almost no one teaches: You don't just need prayer. You don't just need confession. You don't just need accountability. You need to get ANGRY at your sin.

Most men try to fight lust with one hand… while clinging to every other earthly pleasure with the other. If this is you, Your battles will be "difficult and bloody." Your victories "infrequent and uncertain." Sound familiar?

Here's what nobody on the internet is telling you: You can't beat lust by going halfway. St. Thérèse said it bluntly: "You can't be half a saint. You must be a whole saint or no saint at all."
