Started a new account as my original one was so shadow banned and clogged up I'd nearly given up so I'm not new here and trying to follow the same people as you're all fabulous. Only blocked about a dozen friendly ladies already! Hoping this account goes uphill not down.

@ghost_wales You sound like me. I got sick of needing help from an assistant and sometimes having to wait for help. Then if you buy alcohol you're held up and if you have to weigh apples you might need help again. I no longer bother with them.

I hate having to use self service checkouts every single time i do I end up with a member of staff having to help me because something went wrong. Please can’t we just have tills back. It’s getting to the point where I’m now considering boycotting stores that want me to use self check outs. I might as well stay at home and order everything from the internet and then you’ll be crying if your shop is closed down. I like going out shopping though so will hunt down shops that do things in a civilised manner. Finally I’ve noticed some shops have herds of staff directly by the manned tills directing customers to use the unmanned tills this particularly drives my mad so I refuse point blank, they either open up the till or I’m dumping it right there and walking out. Maybe I’m just a moaning old bastard but it’s the small things that matter to me.

Can we just refer the whole of The Green Party to Prevent?

The Telegraph is exclusively reporting that the Golders Green attacker was Essa Suleiman , a British national born in Somalia ( how did that happen?) who had been jailed for 9 years in 2005 for knifing a police officer and his dog. PC Neil Sampson had been called to an incident at a house in Swindon when attacked by Suleiman with a bread knife. The officer was stabbed repeatedly in the head, face and leg. His dog was knifed in the chest. The judge said he shouldn’t be released until he was no longer considered a risk to the public. Mmmm. Suleiman was referred to Prevent in 2020 but the case was closed later that year. I wonder how many more Suleimans are out there? The entire Jewish population of the UK would like to know.
