Let’s take this analogy; There are 3 friends living in an apartment, their names are A, B & C. This apartment comes with a service that allows the chef to bring 1 meal in the morning, afternoon & night. The 3 friends decided to take the food in turn (meaning A will eat the breakfast, B the lunch & C the dinner). A took the breakfast as agreed, B took the lunch, but when the time for dinner came, A threw away their initial gentlemen understanding, held the dinner claiming he has legitimate right to it, C got angry & became aggressive. A ended up eating the dinner, A is now faulting C for getting angry and claims C played a bad politics. It’s simple, A is nothing but a greedy MF, unfortunately that’s what BAT & Apc made us Yorubas look like. The Igbos have always been marginalized, disparaged, and now y’all tryna make them objects of contempt. It’s really a shame to see people like @seyilaw1 speak as if we Yorubas are any better. This ur description fits nearly all ethnic groups in Nigeria, You typed a lot without saying anything bruv. People like Seyilaw & his Apc Regressives are playing a psychological game, they’re trying to make igbos regret the fact that they supported one of their own. It’s not a wrong decision to support Obi and Igbos shouldn’t be made to feel bigoted because of this decision. You guys only wanted what originally should’ve been zoned to your region. They want y’all to lick 👅 their boots, but I tell you on this day that some of your leaders from the east have done that in the past, they’ve used the same strategy & it didn’t work. You guys will be very naive if you think it’s because of ur political choices. There are power blocs in this country that’ll go any miles, sacrifice anything just to see the presidential seat kept far from the of Igbos. How can anyone call Igbos bigots, they simply wanted what ought to have gone to them naturally, Ffs there are 3 regions in the south and two of those regions have been president except one, yet you didn’t zone the presidency to them. Can we Yorubas take this, can we support Igbos to take another shot at the presidency when we haven’t had our turn❓ How can anyone fault them for not supporting any other tribe, have you no morals❓These are Igbos presidential choices since democracy; 1. 1999, Obasanjo - South West 2. 2003, Obasanjo - South West 3. 2007, Yar’adua - Northerner 4. 2011, Jonathan - South south 5. 2015, Jonathan - South South 6. 2019, Atiku - Northerner 7. 2023 Obi - South East And now they are bigots because they decided to support their own for the very first time. These same Igbos voted another tribe against their own Ojukwu. There’s no justification whatsoever to the fact that we Yorubas are taking another shot at the presidency when one of our brother region in the south have never had a shot. This is why I will continue to supported Obi against even my own tribe, and the resulting animosity I get from Apc & it’s Regressives is a BADGE OF HONOR for me.
