It is extremely important for educators to work on their mental & physical health right now. Whether school is in person or virtual, we are dealing with stress that we have never encountered. Take time for yourself daily/weekly - read, walk, rest, spend time with loved ones.
If a student needs extra time in #googleClassroom... that "missing" and "late" red words is really really really stressful. Unassign the student from the assignment. REUSE POST. Assign to only that student(s) and give a new due date. #googleEDU
A4: We also told our staff that there has never been a better time to prove to parents that we LOVE kids and LIKE content. We try to remember it is about who we teach, not what we teach. #FETCChat

First year teachers, who are starting this fall, remember it won't always be this way.
You've got this.
You can do this.
Reach out when you need help.
Don't carry the weight on your own.
@KallyEvans@KallyEvans, I lost my Mama on April 13th. I feel your pain and loss. Unfortunately, distance made it impossible to visit, and the speed of the virus, in her case, made it impossible to say goodbye. #MaskUp
So, I have gained so much weight this summer I could only button the collar on one of my dress shirts today. Schools can’t open because teachers ain’t got no clothes. 🤣
