Since announcing our planned protest at tomorrow’s match against Swansea, we have been in regular discussions with both the Children’s Hospital and the club regarding the collection and distribution of the teddies once they were thrown onto the pitch.

@SWFCTrust So, in conclusion, Efl told Chansiri to engage with fans. He has now arranged a meeting where no one will attend, he won't have to answer for his actions, and Efl will be told I tried but on one came.

@SWFCTrust If you are considering leaving, why not attend and publish the meeting anyway? You could record if it's on Zoom. If no one attends, you will have given him a bit longer to mess us up even more because he can say to the EFL I tried, but no one attended

Engagement Panel Update. As you will be aware the Sheffield Wednesday Supporters’ Trust put out a statement on the 24th of August regarding an engagement panel called by SWFC. The statement called for full transparency in the proposed meeting with Dejphon Chansiri and asked for several conditions around attendance, recording of the meeting and ensuring that key stakeholders would be able to attend. We have today received an email from SWFC that that indicated to us that the upcoming engagement panel would take place in its regular format and would follow the same process since the inception of the group. We thank and acknowledge the polite, courteous and respectful email received from the club official informing us of Dejphon Chansiri’s position. Consequently, the Sheffield Wednesday Supporters’ Trust will not attend the meeting of the engagement panel on Wednesday 27th August. The current Terms of Reference for the engagement panel has led to much confusion and secrecy in the past and are no longer fit for purpose. Furthermore, as a democratic organisation we will now be polling members on whether the Sheffield Wednesday Supporters’ Trust should remain part of the engagement panel. Ballots will arrive with paid members by email with voting closing on Tuesday 2nd September at midday. Please note that only paid members have voting rights.
