Payments were designed for people. Agents weren’t part of the model.

A strange side effect of the CLARITY Act could be a boost for DeFi.
If CeFi platforms lose their ability to offer yield directly to customers, millions of users will suddenly have their stablecoin earnings cut off.
Where do these users go?
The answer might be on-chain vaults. Ironically, the fastest way to drive DeFi adoption might be regulating CeFi yield products out of existence.

The most difficult time to underwrite a company is just before they launch their product
I think the Founder and the VC get the best outcome when the investment is 6 months pre-launch (ie preseed) so we can be a design partner in the process
OR a true seed round (post launch) where we can underwrite based on real metrics
Doing pre-product launch rounds is likely least efficient for founders

A lot to unpack from 2025! 🥂
Firstly, I'm super proud of our @Curvance team for how far we've come, not just from last January, but from the genesis of our building journey. Despite adversity and uncertainty in the markets, we were heads down hyper-focused to make the vision a reality. In a lot of ways, it's very uplifting to be vindicated for the conviction we had in our product even pre-launch, where the numbers now speak for themselves.
Commonly in crypto there's a lot of fatigue around teams saying "big things coming" from behind a screen, which ends up being a lot of empty promises. I can genuinely say that we're only just getting started, and haven't even scratched the surface of the untapped potential for 2026 and beyond.
The goal is, and always has been, to make the greatest DeFi app the world has ever seen, and I fully intend to burn the boats to make that a reality.
The future is bright, and the future is ~Floppy~ 💾
