Under the first amendment, the White House may not pressure ABC to fire a comedian because of his jokes. Melania is entitled to her opinion, of course, but unfortunately, this administration has shown itself more than willing to pursue their enemies for their speech.

What utter BS. Saying about a speech “shots fired” is not a “joke” humorously implying that shots are coming; it’s an idiom - a figurative phrase. But Clooney knows Kimmel crossed a vile line so he minimizes it, saying they both “joked” about death. Disgusting.
