@KrishnanNayar1 @DrewPavlou Another post justifying mass migration as revenge.
English

The British changed a host of countries hugely without asking their permission.
And in North America and Australasia, the British not only stayed but decimated the natives, sometimes wiping them out as in the case of the Tasmanians.
In the course of a centuries long association, there will be migrant flows, and Britain has become multi-racial. If you did not want that you should not have gone beyond Tilbury.
All this is academic anyway. The reality is a multi-racial country which is going to stay that way, and where most except a minority of Muslim fanatics have integrated excellently.

@RWApodcast where did you get that 100/barrel ural oil info?
1 at a hand, ural oil can not be higher than brent and second i don't think it's even 70 atm.
And yes, i know a bit about oil so don't give me BS explanations.
Again, where did you get that 100/barrel Ural oil price?
English

@ZacharyLayne @Captain_Fubar I can't see that because of X's dumb age verification. But use common sense. The worse pictures and videos we saw came from prisoner battalions in Bakhmut. No fighting has been that bad since and the changing war conditions has meant casualties have dropped on both sides.
English

Russia spent decades trying to stamp out the myth that all they did was throw bodies at Nazi lines until they won through sheer numbers
Only to actually try to do it for real in Ukraine

@ralphlovespizza @DD_Geopolitics > The entire Ukrainian industry crippled and economic and military base weakened
> "Nothing"
English

@DD_Geopolitics 4 years into this war and these useless missile strikes accomplish nothing.
English

🇷🇺🇺🇦 Air raid alerts have been issued across Ukraine.
Energy infrastructure in Kiev has been struck by repeated Iskander and Zircon strikes over the past hour.
Up to four MiG-31K aircraft carrying Kinzhal missiles are airborne, and Russian strategic bombers have reportedly launched cruise missiles, while around 90 UAVs are descending on the central regions.
Some Ukrainian monitoring channels are reporting a possible Oreshnik strike, but that is unlikely to happen.

@diplpoid @nic0polito @AcademicAgent_X Doesn't distract from the fact that the Soviets almost single-handedly won WW2 on the European continent.
English

@KeeneFAF @nic0polito @AcademicAgent_X You need to look into how the Red Army raped women on sight.
Replacing the Germanic DNA with their own.
English

@diplpoid @nic0polito @AcademicAgent_X No, the 80% of all German casualties that were from fighting the Red Army.
English

@nic0polito @AcademicAgent_X By heavy lifting are you talking about the mass rapping of Europe by the Red Army?
English

@MrClarkyofAxel @Jack_McClendon @RALee85 What? Finland signed because it was about to face complete military collapse and was essentially going through the process. There has never been a war that has faced so much anti-Russian revisionism as the winter war damn
English

@Jack_McClendon @RALee85 The USSR only won a pyrrhic victory over Finland, the same as now. Ukraine is not close to the collapse of its military, but neither was Finland. An armistice was signed because neither side stood to gain from prolonged fighting, that is true now.

"According to the U.S. officials, Umerov said in the Florida meeting that Zelensky might be ready to compromise on the crucial issue of swapping land in Donetsk for a peace deal, which has been a Russian demand. Umerov also said that Ukraine might be willing to cap its army at 600,000, the officials said. After that cap roused a storm of protest Friday, an official told me it might be raised or removed altogether — since it didn’t really affect the manpower balance, which strongly favors Russia in any event...
Zelensky’s initial reaction to the new peace initiative had been to propose instead a ceasefire for energy-infrastructure targets. U.S. officials thought Moscow might accept this, because it has already damaged the Ukrainian power grid so severely. But the Russians responded that this approach was a “nonstarter,” an official told me."

"The Trump administration believes the moment to pressure Ukraine into a peace agreement is at hand, with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy particularly weak at home and plagued by a corruption scandal that poses the most direct threat to his leadership since Russia invaded in 2022. 'The Ukrainians will have to accept [the deal] given the weakness of Zelenskyy’s current position,' said a senior White House official, who, like others, in the story, was granted anonymity to discuss the negotiations." @diana_nerozzi @DashaBurns @paulmcleary politico.com/news/2025/11/2…

@AJtheVILLAN @Sargon_of_Akkad All invasions of the British Isles barely made any genetic change to the native population. The ethnic English are traced back more than 5000 years.
English

@Sargon_of_Akkad What the fuck is “native” to England you absolute whopper been getting invaded since the beginning of time. By all manner of colours. Ridiculous. Native like there some tribal British folk out here or something araWACK argument bud.
English

She's also not native, you tedious bloviating traitor.
Barry Malone@malonebarry
She's from Birmingham, you tedious racist prick.
English

@k6uts123 @secretsqrl123 Almost like Ukraine is losing the war, isn't it?
English

@secretsqrl123 Oh yeah, AMK is a stooge. Claims neutral/pro-ukr but most of the stuff he spews shows ukraine in negative light and Russians in a positive one
English

@DarthExcaliburX @SchalkDormehl @DonteLamonte That's exactly how it works these days. Have you not been paying attention for the last few years?
English

@SchalkDormehl @DonteLamonte I'll once again state that he is in Oxford for a reason. Oxford don't just let people in because of their race or whatever. That's not how it works. Your entire argument is just racism but you're failing to see the fact that Oxford is NOT just allowing students based on DEI.
English

If I ever see a man dressed like this in academic or business spaces, i automatically assume he’s one of the smartest people in the room, bc there’s no way he’d be there otherwise.

@Aaronusmagnus @cym27s @squatsons Amazing how that abandoned 1980s tech is destroying Ukraine's strategic infrastructure despite being protected by modern Western AA.
English

@cym27s @squatsons I know, it's a cruise missile. The Killjoy is an air launched ballistic variant of the Islander. At any rate, both are abandoned 1980s tech
English

@SerNerdtheThird @razzlededazzle @HumzaYousaf All of them. Because they are all distinctly Scottish unlike foreigners.
English

@razzlededazzle @HumzaYousaf Are you talking about the Scottish of danish (vikings), Gaelic (Irish), English, or Italian (Roman) descent?
English

@secretsqrl123 I am surpised how many “experts”
Just took it at face value without bothering to look at the terrain
They captured no supporting infrastructure to exploit a break through, no road/rail
It was doomed, they did it anyway, press worth more than men’s lives, this is murder not war
English

@pati_marins64 What is the expected ratio of amputees to KIA? If we know this we can create a rough estimate of Ukraine's true casualties.
English

While writing about the impact of amputations on the number of deaths, two figures caught my attention:
1. After only 18 months of war, Ukraine already had 300,000 amputees, and since then, no official numbers have been released. I believe that number today has likely surpassed 500,000. This is a tragedy that must be stopped.
2. Another data point is that, based on the number of open cases and their arrival dates, the figures suggest something around 350,000 desertions.
A resilient nation, but at a high cost.
English

@The_Tau @s_vinniepooh @AMK_Mapping_ You can check the Oryx data yourself to verify what I said is, indeed, true.

English

@The_Tau @s_vinniepooh @AMK_Mapping_ The current combat capability of UA is massively reduced since 2022. They exist and hold the line entirely because of effective drone defence doctrine. Everything else is largely irrelevant to the battlefield. Drones make up 70%+ of Russian casualties.
English

In the Kostyantynivka direction, Russian forces continued to advance and have made significant progress in and around Toretsk.
Russian forces managed to clear positions on Tavriyskyy and Kvitkova Streets and entered the adjacent forest. They also captured the Toretsk Forest to the south and cleared out the two treelines southeast of the Terykons.
In the villages of Shcherbynivka and Novospaske, Ukrainian forces began withdrawing from the salient due to the threat of encirclement, but taking advantage of the briefly improved situation on the flanks. Russian forces subsequently advanced further in Shcherbynivka, entering the main part of the southern section of the village on Vasylchenka Street while also making significant progress down Dzerzhynskoho Street.
West of the Kryvyi Torets River, Russian forces advanced from the fortifications on the southeastern outskirts of Novospaske and from Leonidivka, seizing the majority of Novospaske and threating the Ukrainian garrison in the southern section of Shcherbynivka.
To the northwest, Russian forces renewed their assault operations towards the Kleben-Bykske Reservoir, capturing new trench fortifications, while approaching the village of Katerynivka from the southwest via the treelines.
In the west, Russian forces completed the capture of a treeline next to the highway, and infiltrated the village of Oleksandro-Kalynove, recapturing positions in the eastern buildings of the village.
+ ~8.58km² in favour of Russia.

English

@The_Tau @s_vinniepooh @AMK_Mapping_ Reminder, per western Oryx sources, 90-95% of all military equipment given to Ukraine has been destroyed by the Russians. Does that sound like Ukraine is in a better or worse position than in say, early 2023?
English

@The_Tau @s_vinniepooh @AMK_Mapping_ Does this Russia sounds more or less powerful than it was in 2022?
