Keeping Cancer Classy passed away peacefully in her sleep last week. Cancer Twitter meant a whole lot to her. She had a very special ability to connect, love, and inspire. She touched so many in her life and I’m glad to say that includes countless people on Twitter.

But for me, it was time to cocoon again until I could wrap my head around what was happening to my body. Before I knew it, months went by without a check in with my cancer friends. I promise that if something happens to me, someone will come to this account to let you know!

Interesting thread. Blows my mind how many fellow cancer patients & survivors that can get the vaccine refuse it. I’ve been thru hell w/cancer for the past 7 years. To be taken out by Covid now would piss me off. You can bet I was 1st in line for my shots.

@alexghrz I had to walk out of church when the priest started lecturing young people to have children literally a week after I was told I needed a hysterectomy. My pups are my saving grace.

I know it’s worrisome to do so with the Covid #’s, but I don’t know how many Christmases I have left. It’s time to add some weight to quality of life in the grand cancer equation that we are always trying to balance.

I’m so grateful that my family gets it. All vaxx’d, quarantined as best they could & scheduled tests for Christmas Eve. I’ve always wanted to host Christmas dinner in front of our fireplace & I’m finally getting my wish (even better that I’m not the one cooking)
