@coloradotravis More dollars being spent by the fed is the creation of new currency, isn’t it? If we get a check from Uncke Sam that money enters the system and doesn’t leave until that debt is repaid. For part 2 it is true, but I’m also talking about just this year so far

@coloradotravis Appreciate the thread. Two questions: 1. What about federal deficits rising? The government doesn’t seem to be retiring their debts. 2. Why have all consumer goods and prices been going up consistently year over year, it seems like almost everything is more expensive

Oops. S&P 500 earnings real yield is at its lowest level in a decade! Prior lows were also times that gold outperformed equities. What’s different this time? Stocks have never been at record highs with fundamentals severely depressed. Never. Time to buy gold & sell stocks.

I own Cambria/Meb Faber’s TAIL ETF and a smaller portion iPath’s XVZ, these seem to degrade less then VXX or VIXM. Are there other funds for me to research?
