“Abolish Property Taxes” is the homeowner equivalent of “Freeze the Rent” Both are sound great to the individual, but are ultimately completely unsustainable.

It's insane that people who make tens of millions a year (even billions!) pay the same amount into Social Security as someone who makes $176,000. Our country could easily keep its promises and fund Social Security for generations if we unrigged the system and fixed this.
