@bmay @Sjopinion10 Last time I flew BA (from the USA) the plane was scruffy and shabby. My seat had no padding at all, 8 hours sitting on a plank. Never again.

@Sjopinion10 Entitled legacy airline is spot on. Crappy airline, more like, and ancient fleet. Bahamas plane in Feb was 29 years old! They also can’t run anything. And their app is rubbish. And, and, and. Once you’ve flown newer airlines you avoid BA at all costs.

As I sit waiting for yet another delayed #britishairways flight … I ruminate ….as a large proportion of the flights I take with this , entitled legacy airline are delayed for technical faults on the plane .. Is their fleet in a terrible condition, compared to other airlines who don’t have the same amount of faults .. I know I know, fly another carrier

@CWUnews My hospital appointment letter yesterday was for an appointment dated 13/03/2025. Just as well they sent me an email informing me of the appointment. They should nationialize Royal Mail again.

every time I watch daytime tv these days, every other advert seems to be about being cremated cheaply. Lots of smiling faces saying what a wonderful deal they can get. For me the best deal would be not to be cremated for many years to come. I think most people would feel the same

And some of the relief reflects global commodity trends, not a structural fix to the UK’s inflation problem. 👉Sticky inflation in the UK is bc we added trade friction, labour shortages and a structurally weaker pound to our own economy. That’s what Brexit does. You can’t increase barriers and expect prices to behave like Germany’s.
