WE DID IT! Our local group of Chick-fil-A Operators abolished $1.6M in medical debt in our community! Here's how we did it: The Inspiration: Reading 'Truth Over Tribe" by @PatrickKMiller_ sparked an idea - could we replicate this? The Team: I rallied 6 fellow Owner/Operators for a mission bigger than marketing. The Plan: Partner with @unduemeddebt, launch an online campaign, and donate ALL nugget tray sales for a WEEK. The Results: $12,000 raised turned into $1.6M of medical debt forgiven! Here's how @unduemeddebt works: • Eligibility: Folks earning <4x the federal poverty level, or with medical debt >5% of their income. • No Collection: We buy debt to forgive it, not to collect. • Impact: Letters went out, telling people their debt was GONE. No strings attached. The Letter: Imagine getting this in your mail (see below) This wasn't just about Chick-fil-A; it was about community power. We can change lives together! It’s sad that two generations of young men were lied to by their parents that traveling, “having experiences,”focussing on career, “finding out who you are,” etc. are all more fulfilling than having this at home. This is leveling up, not “settling down.”
