@ellafranco_ Your dad put together an excellent career that he and you should be incredibly proud of.
That said, in 21 years, he never threw in more than 74 games and hit 60+ seven times. He averaged an outing every three team games over his career. He was not throwing seven days in a row.

These Men are the game's leading purveyors of outs. You can tell me all you want about deGrom (who I root for!) and Snell (who I don't 🤣), but ultimately there's no substitute for the workhorse pitcher that goes out there and gets hitters out, start after start, year after year.
