@hubermanlab @Brady_H Yeah I was in the same boat and my first marathon at 33 was 412. 2 years later got it to 336. Trying to hit 330 this year. Seen people way older than you well under 330

@Brady_H That would be fun. I run for 5-8mi about once a week just for fun (yes I enjoy it) so I will have to step it up. What’s a good first marathon time for someone my age, 50, who ran X country senior year HS (lighter then)? And 6 mo to train or 4 sufficient?

@stoolpresidente I laugh at yo-yos like you who think this is anything another than Trump helping Israel get what It wants, while maintaining America's interests and supremacy in the region. If you believe this has anything to do with morality, congratulations you have become full Neocon.

I always laugh at yo-yo’s who don’t have the 1st clue what information the President had that forced this decision. Even politicians who despise him but were briefed on the situation seem to agree with this operation. I guess lotta podcasters know better. 😂. Gotta keep the lights on somehow. Borderline traitors if you ask me. Iran is a terror nation with a long history of some of the worst human rights atrocities in the world. Nobody disputes that fact. They hate Americans. They hate Israel. They hate all Jews. They hate the West. They would kill us all if given the chance. They just murdered tens of thousands of their own people. The rest of the Middle East is on our side. The Iranian people are on our side. It isn’t that complicated to support our Troops and our country this morning. We are on the right side here. God Bless America . 🇺🇸 x.com/WhiteHouse/sta…

@tomcoppens_ @hubermanlab @Cryptoweb3draga @CamHanes Thats about when the pain starts to become near unbearable. I've always wondered how elite marathoners pace themselves during a race and if they worry as much about nutrition during the race.

Truett Hanes (yes @CamHanes son) set the pull-up WR, then ran progressively faster marathons (in jeans), brought his time down to sub 2:30 & now is going for Olympic trial qualification. I wouldn’t bet against him. Or any Hanes for that matter. His mantra “it’s just pain”…

@tomcoppens_ @hubermanlab @Cryptoweb3draga @CamHanes I'm willing to stick to any training program that helps me improve. My biggest concern is pacing. Is it supposed to feel like any other race where you're going out hard from the start? Or are you supposed to start out comfortable and ease into a faster pace?

There’s a lot of variables. But in my opinion if you run 50-70miles per week and are between 10-15% a sub 3h marathon is possible for more people than they’d think while carrying decent muscle mass A lot depends on training program and their consistency (and willingness to stick to their training)

@GuruAnaerobic @hubermanlab @Cryptoweb3draga @CamHanes @Brady_H Thats definitely true for elite marathoners. I'm no where near that level. But I would like to be slightly above average and push myself to my limit. I also dont plan on being super jacked. I'm interested in finding the right balance where I can push my PRs as much as possible.

I’ll add a data point here. In 2024 I went from ~166 lbs to ~185 lbs while training for marathons. Ran 2:55 in May and 2:51 in September. Averaged ~60 mile weeks plus ~7 hrs of cycling, ~30k steps per day, and lifted 2–3x per week. Most of the gain was probably fat, but the point is simple: it’s not hard to maintain or even gain weight while marathon training if you eat and lift intentionally.

@Brady_H @hubermanlab @Cryptoweb3draga @CamHanes Thank you! At 205 pounds I ran my best time at 3:36 for my 3rd ever marathon. One day I'd like shoot for 3 hours or less. How do I know if that's realistic for me?

@ShaunBroncoBeat How come we've never been able to secure a spot in a p5 conference? I see teams like BYU, TCU, Utah, all have gone to a p5 conference. Teams we've had success over. Teams like Minnesota, Rutgers and Maryland are power 5. Is it just about lack of money that no one invites us?

Just a few weeks ago, Spencer Danielson was standing in the rain as he waited for his team to board the plane from San Diego asking himself: “Why can’t we get going.” Now? He and his Broncos are three-time MW champions. Here’s how BSU became Kings of the Mountain ⬇️

Jeffrey Epstein was hired at Dalton as a math teacher immediately after former U.S. Attorney General Bill Barr’s father, Donald Barr, left his position as headmaster. It was an odd hiring, considering Epstein had no college degree and appeared to come out of nowhere. There is no documented teaching experience, certification, or academic background that would have qualified him for a position at an elite private school like Dalton. It was his first job. Donald Barr later went on to write a science fiction novel about a society ruled by aristocrats who enslave people and sexually exploit minors. Decades later, Bill Barr served as Attorney General under Donald Trump and was quick to rule Epstein’s death a suicide, attributing it to “a series of screw-ups.”

@stoolpresidente It's all a scam to pull money from as many people as possible without actually offering anything of real value.

I have a dumb 2 part question. 1. What’s the difference between the Hawk Tuah coin and the Trump coin besides nothing? 2. Can I string up my own coin now and tell people it’s a Ponzi scheme from the jump and I’m gonna rug pull at some point and you better just hope you’re out when I do it and that would make the entire thing legal? $trump
