Isn’t this an admission that Cornyn/Cassidy both need to be replaced because they put their own self important BS in front of what voters sent them to D.C. to do? I’d rather gridlock so we can replace these establishment creatures longterm than get scraps thrown to us by them. And it’s not just me who feels this way. Voters I talk to often feel the same way. We’re tired of electing majorities that don’t act aggressively enough.

John Thune had a choice: Lose John Cornyn or have Ken Paxton drop out if he bypassed the filibuster to pass the SAVE America Act. He made his choice. And for the first time in what seems like ever, establishment Senate Republicans actually felt the consequences of failing to keep their promises.

@DataRepublican @Tiredofth3sh1t @JakeSherman I just left my polling place. My only hard and fast rule was to NOT vote for any incumbent member of Congress. Half or more of our tax money is lost to fraud every year. Every single member of Congress is on the hook. No work? Zero oversight? No vote.

@JakeSherman All the Senate had to do was fund ICE and pass SAVE America Act. This is all their own doing.
