@bofrench @TXPat75 My position is if an existing member of the swamp endorses a candidate, that candidate is no longer considered.

The Austin swamp is petrified I might win because my opponent is fine with green new scam regulations on our oil industry. He is fine spending our tax dollars on DEI. They like the fact he is a democrat mega-donor. The swamp wants him because he is part of the swamp.

Why I’m voting for @mayes_middleton: 1. Mayes Middleton is one of the most conservative members in Texas Senate history—a proven, unapologetic MAGA conservative who fights and wins. 2. Mayes Middleton will work hand-in-hand with the Governor, the Legislature, the Department of Justice, and President Trump to make the Texas Attorney General’s office the strongest in the nation—relentlessly defending our laws and our Constitution.

If nothing else, Bettencourt's endorsement should tell you all you need to know about Middleton. Bettencourt is singularly responsible for the property tax situation. He is the primary author of all of the property tax relief bills passed and signed in the last 12 years, and everyone of them have giant loopholes allowing Abbott to give permission to his county cronies to continue fleecing Texas property owners. I'm in for Chip

The Austin swamp really doesn’t want Chip Roy in power. They know he’s an actual conservative that would shake things up.

I have had the privilege of serving with @mayes_middleton for two sessions in The Texas Senate. Literally sitting next to him on the floor, in #txlege committees like State Affairs, Education, and in Local Government where he was my Vice-Chair, and through all of that time, he was and is a true Texas Conservative that fights for what's right! He'll do the same as TX AG. Even I hadn't heard this about his opponent until Lt. Gov. @DanPatrick posted this less than an hour ago:

@WadeMiller That’s what I keep trying to explain to folks, but they’re caught in the misrepresentations of Chips comments. Middleton carries Dan Patrick’s water. He is definitely part of the swamp and is angling for more influence.

@TeamCornyn This is the stupidest hit I have ever seen. Do you think Texans are dumb enough to buy your AI Bullshit? Pack your retirement bags. Remember, they did this same AI crap with George P. Bush's camp, and we beat them 68-32. Your communication and consulting team suck John.

🧵Some politicians talk about conservative values. I've spent my career delivering them. Here's my record.

Fine print… for a vote representing her district. A week and a half later he had better grounds to remove her, for abusing her position in leadership against the interests of the caucus, and he pushed hard on that at conference meetings and got it done. Being factually correct only costs a little bit of time and honesty to figure out what the facts are.

One of the false claims I keep seeing is that Chip Roy supported Liz Cheney. Totally bogus claim. He led the charge in getting her removed.

Reminder: Talarico’s choice for Speaker…was “Republican” Burrows. And Burrows hired an OBAMA WHITE HOUSE LAWYER as House Parlimentarian, who’s spent years stopping conservative legislation. And no, I will NOT shut up or stop reminding Texans about this betrayal! Cc: @TexasGOP

President Obama just appeared at a taco restaurant in Austin with @jamestalarico and @GinaHinojosaTX. They chatted with restaurant goers and as he left, Obama said, “remember to vote!” to big cheers:

When I ran for mayor of Houston, I spent $13 million of my own money trying to get elected. The voters spoke. I got my ass kicked. Houston is a Democrat city. The money I spent was all my own. It was a waste and I was a fool. We are seeing the same type of foolishness in this US Senate Republican primary. Cronyn has spent well over $100 million as opposed to Paxton who has spent around $5 million. The difference? Old Corn ball is spending and wasting other people’s money. Catch a clue Corn dog. The Republicans don’t want you.
