We are working full 24-hour shifts, often with less than two hours of sleep, and all we’re given in return is a single portion of low-quality rice. In our condition, they’re a bandage on an open wound. We’ve reached the edge of what our bodies can endure. Most of what we give now, we give at the cost of our own well-being. Even my mind is beginning to falter, I can no longer summon the focus to write a full literary text. The words, once vivid and sharp, now slip through my fingers like dust.
