This morning, accompanied by the Regional Internal Security Officer, officers from CID, and the State House Anti-Corruption Unit, we conducted an unannounced inspection at Busiu Health Centre IV, the largest health facility in Mbale District. I commend Dr. Mawumbe Bernard, Dr. Balayo Isa Mustafa, the midwives, nurses, and all health workers I found on duty. Your dedication and commitment to saving lives are truly appreciated. Our inspection revealed that Busiu Health Centre IV is overwhelmed by the growing number of patients. The facility urgently requires expansion, additional health workers, and more medical equipment to improve service delivery and meet the healthcare needs of the people. Access to quality healthcare is a constitutional right of every Ugandan. The Ministry of Local Government will work closely with the Ministry of Health and other stakeholders to ensure this critical facility receives the support it deserves. To all public servants serving with integrity, thank you. To those who neglect their duties or misuse public resources, be warned: our unannounced inspections will continue. Every Ugandan deserves efficient, accountable, and people-centred public services. Together, let us build a cleaner, more transparent, and more effective local government system. Hello @PoliceUg @BalaamBarugahar here on Ibanda-Mbarara road drones which are licensed to carry 14,,carry way beyond and the most weird part driver doesn’t stop on a traffic stop by officers but he drops a 5k on ground and they pick up the money after he goes😂

To some brothers of mine who are not bothered by what is going on in our local governments and cities, this is a “pit latrine” with out a pit that cost taxpayers UGX 73 million. Is this the Uganda we want? This is unacceptable. My brother Simon and others on x , this is exactly why the #ExposeTheCorrupt campaign must continue. No one will stop this train. There are still a few hours and days left for repentance. When you steal public funds, you will be exposed publicly. If you hate humiliation, don’t tamper with or misuse public resources. Every shilling belongs to the people and must be used for its intended purpose. Let us improve our public infrastructure, strengthen service delivery, and restore accountability in local government.
