I'm genuinely curious what will happen in a month or two when much of the primary functionality of OpenClaw is shipped from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, etc. I think there will always be value in the bleeding edge, and these companies can't take the same security risks, so The Claw isn't going anywhere anytime soon. Will it fade away, replaced by the monoliths of the future, or will it thrive alongside them, like Android or Linux? What models will be available, and at what price, outside of their native harnesses once the benefit of acquiring customers slips and companies become more cost sensitive? Will efficiency improvements drive the cost of legacy models down enough to offset the winding down of subsidies? Will usable local models ever be attainable for the masses? The future is so exciting. I have no clue what is going to happen, at the same time, I know exactly what is going to happen. AI is going to eat the world.
Frank@frankdegods

It's hard to price the value creation explosion that will result from OpenClaw being open source. It's the best tech experience I've had in over decade of using internet. It sounds like hyperbole, but it is insane to use a piece of software that tangibly gets better as you use it. I think this experience will scale to literally billions of users. The fact that it's open source though means that there won't be one company that necessarily dominates this. I think this is just how all new software will be made. Self-improving Clawbot inspired agents. So at the earliest stages right now I believe the next billion dollar applications are being started and built right now.

@redl3tters Yeah, I have seen many reactions to being smart, getting 100s on tests, speaking with adults, bosses, friends, etc. Of all the impressions I've left being smart, probably half or more were negative. You can be real and act dumb, it's mostly just keeping your thoughts to yourself

The sweet spot with IQ gaps is ~10 points higher than the girl. That's the zone where she can tell you're smart, but the two of you can still relate. Beyond 10 points, she just thinks you're a weirdo because she can't understand your thought process at all. So there's plenty of irony to be found in intelligence as a desirable trait: The average woman will consistently recognize guys in the 110 - 120 range as impressively "smart" to her liking. Beyond that, you're going to have to dumb yourself down to impress most girls with how "smart" you are. The flip side of this coin is that there are few souls more tortured than the pretty, high IQ woman. Her whole life is one big search for a desirable guy who can impress her with his mind... Then when she finally finds one, he's sadly developed the persona of a mid, because that's what he learned he needed for romantic success. And that's how we all end up on Twitter.
Jake Kozloski@jakozloski

"Would you marry someone less intelligent than you?" Outright "no": Women: 45% Men: 8% Women are nearly 6x more likely to rule it out entirely. The single largest gender disparity in our deep-question dataset.

@Alex_li @stevehunsaker1 Oh if you can't differentiate then yes. I haven't seen that be a requirement in any services industry. There are always outliers. Even oil changes, or car detailing, and definitely plumbing/roofing/HVAC etc have companies that charge more and thrive.

@KenChessRapper @stevehunsaker1 That’s exactly what i said. As markets get saturated and services become commoditized every other variable gets removed. I don’t make the rules 🤷🏻‍♂️

Guy running a $500k/yr home service biz at 10% net margins is making $50k Raise prices 10% and now he's making $100k His customers see a 10% price increase. He sees his take home income double. Most of you could raise prices by 10% and not even have a noticeable dip in close rate (Yes I understand the math is not QUITE that simple as some expenses scale with higher rev but you get the point of my tweet)

@IrishGolfDad @lyndseyfifield She’s squirming because she wants to tell the truth about the attorney’s actions but she still has to work with him on a daily basis to get other criminals prosecuted. Cops in this case and similar are in a no win situation. Sucks man. 🤨🇺🇸

@imelizabethlane No one says that she is dishonest and not down to earth. She is however. very misguided. Now, here's the problem. When you are very honest and down-to-earth and misguided. You honestly think you're doing the right thing even when you ARE NOT. And there is the problem.

Candce Owens is one of the most honest and down-to-earth people I’ve ever had the chance to interview. Over the years, I’ve interviewed every type of person imaginable from nuns to politicians to actors and after you sit with someone for sometime, once the small talk fades, you get a real sense of who they are. Candace is an incredible mother with a beautiful, loving family. I also had the honor of meeting her genius husband, a genuinely great guy and honestly, way more straight-laced than I expected lol. I’m grateful I got a glimpse into their beautiful family life, but most importantly, we talked about some really interesting and important issues. I also gained a lot more respect for Charlie. He truly lived as a believer and honored the sanctity of marriage. I had no idea Charlie saved himself for marriage, I honestly think that’s absolutely adorable. The episode is out now, link in the comments.

You pay @Paychex to remit your payroll taxes. We just found out 5.5 months later they didn’t. No reason. No explanation. Their answer: “we could not find a reason.” That’s a hell of a service.

Imagine paying at least $25 per card for grading, having to submit at least 50 cards to get that price, waiting roughly 7 months to get your cards back, getting wildly inconsistent grades, horrible customer support, and then being told the card you submitted can't be worth more than $500 in a PSA 10 — or you get hit with an upcharge? No, thank you. @CardPurchaser @BosCardHunter @PSAcard

@mar10party @Hobby_News_Plus Right but I’m saying shouldn’t that be up to the purchaser if they want the extra insurance or not, not just automatically added to the price, like if I want to grade a 1/1 LBJ and don’t mind regular shipping with $500 insurance shouldn’t that be up to me?

@Jacob_Naviaux @AlphaMinerBTC Real estate is wonderful. You have room so if the market cuts in half, you're still above water. Keep the homes rented until next pop and the dip never mattered.

I own 6 single family rentals that cash flow ~$2,800/mo. Decent money, but doesn’t really affect my life. But from forced appreciation, principal paydown, and market appreciation, I’ve gained $450,000 in equity.

@Alex_li Lots of assumptions there. Same price, same exact service, same material, same sales process, and same sales person with the same skill? That doesn’t sound like a competitive business if that’s how you view yourself in the market

@moseskagan Making reasonable assumptions here, yes at very high probability, as a prediction of how a specific technological artifact works. I felt generally constrained from saying a very similar thing in the form of advice, and ~remain so constrained.

@RealPlantBrah I'm no expert but $2500 around Orlando greater area won't get much done. Maybe if you use some document challenged folks, but a company with equipment easily charges $2500 for a big tree with little to no hazard. Have heard $10-$15k for what you're describing before.

@Card_Curiosity I just cancelled my order of 3 blasters as your video was ending. Thanks for that! I'd much rather rip Bowman of the same value. I pulled a baby brother Cooper paper auto and haven't ripped much of that either. I should have known when all hobby/blaster/hangers are live 9pm.

@Jerry4BOfEd @redhotnerd Fair enough I didn't know any of that. I guess you can say they designed their own phone by making it gold and moving camera around and they make it in America by assembling some of it here. No phone is made in America tho that's silly.

@KenChessRapper @redhotnerd Their original advertising said they were designing their own phone and it would be built in America. Exposing lies is still important. We need to hold people & companies to higher standards. We need to hold POTUS to the highest standards, not the lowest. Demand more, not less.

You didn’t design shit. This is an off the shelf rebrand of a device made by Wingtech called the Revvl 7Pro 5G and was available at T-Mobile for $0. The 7Pro has been replaced by the 8Pro because this thing is over 18 months old. And this is old stock that they bought to avoid a lawsuit.
