A government that stops trying to run everything out of Ottawa and control your life.
Instead: Let people live their lives and buy and sell things freely.
A government that does a few things well, instead of too many things poorly.

I just finished Rogan‘s interview with Poilievre.
Two hours and 15 minutes, and not one mention of the ostriches.
Not one mention of the Ottawa trucker protest.
Not one mention of the conversion therapy ban.
I will be doing a review on this podcast shortly.

I just sat through the entire 2-hour and 23-minute @joerogan Experience interview with @PierrePoilievre you don't have to. ⏱️ Yes, I survived the deep dives into Russian kettlebell history, 90s kickboxing, and Bobby Orr's knees to extract the actual political substance. Between the MMA tangents, Poilievre dropped a bunch of claims. Some are actually spot-on (yes, it happens even with Poilievre), some are missing massive context, and a couple directly contradict his own record. PIERRE CRUSHED IT ON JOE ROGAN:
-He defended Canada against 51st state comments
-He was very charming
-He REFUSED TO CRITICIZE CARNEY on foreign soil
-He rightfully so, defended that Castro is not Trudeau’s father
-He respectfully & tactfully didn’t fall into conspiracy theory traps
-He did a beautiful job explaining his role as the Opposition & how keeping the government to account is the most loyal thing one can do
Joe Rogan showed a great deal of respect for him, his intelligence & they both laughed hysterically when Joe asked him
“How did you lose?!”
People don’t realize, that as much as Joe Rogan is painted as “far right”, he’s logical and I consider him well balanced.
There’s a reason why he has the biggest podcast in the world.
Pierre did an incredible job.

@ian_heyting @mapleblooded Im aware what JRE is, I’ve been a fan of his comedy since the 90s and I’ve watched the podcast semi regularly since its inception. That Being said, Joe is Not a conservative by any stretch & neither is Pierre imo, so it could be a softball conversation. I hope I’m wrong though

I know a lot of Millenial guys who listen to Joe Rogan but vote Liberal because everything that they know about Pierre Poilievre is what they have learned from their wives.
