SH73 remains CLOSED. The next update is expected tomorrow morning, Fri 24 Oct.
This section of road has also been CLOSED due to severe weather. Recovery of the crashed vehicle has been delayed for the same reason. ^SG

"aggressive driving" is clearly a behavioral issue where speeding because of poor road design is not
"aggressive driving" more clearly means NHTSA has a role to punish those aggressive drivers

If drivers get the open roads they are promised by auto ads then they'll be relaxed and happy. If they are delayed, or annoyed by something like a bike lane, then they'll be angry and speed

By my reading, President Trump has ordered the immediate shutdown of all ongoing highway bridge projects in the US, or at least to stop paying states the money they are owed once they build the bridge. Because "disbursements" means outlays and IIJA funds $7.3B/yr for bridges.
