“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind," and "Love your neighbor as yourself.”

Pornographic and promiscuous content on social media is literally rotting men's brains. That's why men have stopped yearning. Men are becoming so desensitized to women, it's actually terrifying.

Foreign policy tensions affect mental health in Kalaallit Nunaat (Greenland) – but the population shows strength A new study conducted in January and February this year shows that the current foreign policy situation has caused significant concern and insecurity among citizens, with many experiencing signs of mental distress. At the same time, the study highlights that many people have effective strategies for coping with the pressure created by global tensions. 76% report a moderate to high level of concern regarding statements by the U.S. President about taking control of Kalaallit Nunaat (Greenland). 82% say these concerns affect their daily lives, and 31% exhibit symptoms of mental distress. Specifically, respondents report experiencing nervousness, anxiety, sadness, sleep problems, difficulty concentrating, and anger related to feeling disrespected. Concerns are expressed about personal and national security, children’s future, and—in some cases—thoughts of leaving the country. “It is important that we remember the citizens when external pressure is high. This study helps give citizens a voice, and it is clear that the impact is significant among those who participated. We must not forget this when public attention fades. These effects may influence people’s well-being for many years to come,” says Ingelise Olesen, Research Coordinator at the Centre for Public Health in Greenland and Ilisimatusarfik. However, the study also shows something else—something important: Many people in Kalaallit Nunaat have strong coping strategies to deal with the pressures created by global instability. Participants report, among other things, that they take care of themselves by: -Spending time in nature -Talking with friends and family—even about difficult topics -Engaging in meaningful activities with others -Using faith, culture, nature, and other activities to redirect their thoughts -Staying physically active -Protecting themselves by limiting exposure to news and social media when it becomes overwhelming “Mental health is crucial to our collective resilience as a society. When we experience external pressure, it is more important than ever that we stand together and take care of one another. The study confirms what we already know about what promotes health and well-being here. Our strong sense of community, our culture, our nature, and our social bonds play a central role in our resilience. This is something we should be proud of, protect, and continue to develop, so that we remain strong—now and in the future—even when external pressures are high,” says Minister for Health and Persons with Disabilities, Anna Wangenheim. The study was conducted by the Centre for Public Health in Greenland at the National Institute of Public Health, University of Southern Denmark. The findings provide a snapshot of quality of life and mental well-being among the 308 citizens who participated in the survey. Of these, 60% were women and 40% men, with an average age of 48. —Government of Greenland

After leaving Canada, my wife and I will NEVER say we're from here. We'll be EX-Canadians. She's Albertan and I'm a Newfie. That's what we'll say to new friends. Saying we're "Canadian" is WAY TOO EMBARRASSING.
