As a young conservative influencer, Nick Shirley has uncovered more fraud in the United States than most journalists have in their entire careers. His work has resulted in criminal charges across the country and effected change in several federal programs. A Section 8 mindset is one of the worst mindsets out here. It has helped destroy the Black family unit, with the assistance of Black Democratic politicians, segments of the Black clergy, and a form of white liberalism that rewards dependency instead of self-sufficiency. For decades, people have talked around these issues instead of addressing them directly. And if we’re not willing to have honest conversations about family, education, economics, personal responsibility, and government policy, we’ll still be dealing with the same problems 60 years from now.

Indiana already has this problem in office. Diego Morales, Indiana's current Secretary of State, ran in 2022 as part of the "America First" election skeptics coalition. Before taking office he described the 2020 election as "a sham" in a published op-ed. As SOS he has pushed limiting mail-in voting and increasing law enforcement at polling places. He is being challenged from his right by David Shelton, Knox County clerk, who told local media the 2020 results "sure looked fishy." Shelton spelled "Biden" as "Bidden" in the same interview while claiming 100,000 votes were cast at 3 a.m. Early polling shows Indiana voters aren't particularly fond of Morales. Democratic candidate Beau Bayh has a significant fundraising advantage. The Democracy Docket piece covers fourteen states where candidates with similar profiles are contesting the offices that administer elections - who gets a mail ballot, how votes are counted, who certifies results. Several are in swing states. In Colorado, one candidate supports electronic voting systems only insofar as the electricity powers the lights in the room where humans count paper ballots. The 2026 secretary of state races will determine who runs the 2028 presidential election in most of these states.
