@BreakingBad_ People who hate Skyler didn’t understand the show. The only time where it was actually valid to dislike her was when she gave Ted the money, other than that, there is none.

Manager: I have you scheduled for a meeting at 7 PM tomorrow. Gen Z: Is my attendance mandatory? Manager: Yes, we’re working with a client in another time zone. Gen Z: Okay, I’m happy to shift my hours to accommodate. Manager: Excuse me, no—you still start at 8 AM. Gen Z: If I’m working in the evening, then I’ll start later in the day. Manager: Okay, don’t watch the clock at this company. We work when we need to work. Gen Z: I’m contracted and paid for 40 hours a week, so that is what I work. Manager: That’s a career-limiting move. Tomorrow is a busy day; I’ll need you to start right promptly at 8:00 AM. Gen Z: Alright then, I will take the lieu time later this week. Manager: Again, that’s not how we operate at this company. You work hard when you need to, and you don’t watch the clock. Gen Z: Again, I work for the hours I’m paid for, and since overtime is not an option, I’ll go ahead and adjust my hours this week to accommodate the shift in the schedule. Manager: You’re not quite understanding the company culture we have here—we work all the time. Gen Z: And you’re not understanding that just because that is the way you do things does not mean that is how I’m required to do things as well. Manager: (Silence)

@sylevus @johncwright2001 “How come he didn’t distill 40 years of searching and questions into an easy to read piece of tangible evidence on the internet for me?”

I notice you did not share that evidence in a way that I can validate it myself. Instead, you smugly say I offered myself and deluded myself into believing. That's the same thing I have been offered my 55 years of atheism, and it is NOT a convincing argument. Which is why I doubt you are being honest.

@Dorktanian @seamus_coughlin No! It's not a bad faith response. I'm genuinely asking the question because I want to know if anyone can answer it. I'm not attacking you, or anyone else. Why can't you just answer the question?

So first of all, you're smoking your own product if you think I'm a leftist. Second, I'm not the one who's pretending to not understand. Johan asked a very specific question, which Seamus replied to, and I simply restated that question in a way that doesn't mention religon. And none of you are able to understand my question, much less answer it. And you're accusing me of pretending to not understand?!?

There is a witches convention coming to town and there’s an internal debate amongst a group at my Church. Half of us want to go the convention to pray outside it with Rosary prayers & hymns. The other half are fearful & say it could put us in spiritual danger. What do you say?

@SandyofCthulhu It is sinful, yes. Catholic teaching notes that God provided for you suffering for a reason, the same he would joy.

@Joseph_Spurgeon By your own logic then, you’ve failed. You’ve left the Church in hopes of making it in your image and the Church remains whole intact and without you.

I’m not sure who needs to hear this, but Reformed Protestants do not believe that the Protestant Reformation was the start of the church. We trace our lineage back through the Protestant Reformation, through the Middle Ages, into the early church, into the Bible, and we own all of that. So Saint Patrick belongs to the Protestants, as does Augustine, John Chrysostom, and all the rest of the saints. The Protestant Reformation was not the start of a new church. It was an attempt to purify and reform the church and move it away from the abuses of the papacy and its money-hungry, power-hungry twisting of the faith that was delivered once for all to the saints.

@gmk_julie There is a character in the Bible who made it their life’s mission to antagonize and accuse the Church. Of all the characters, that one sure is a strange choice of role model.

@pmakshou @Sebbywebz Draw is for getting rare GFs and secret spells. It is not effective for stock piling. Refine magic from items and cards instead.

@Sebbywebz I'm on Sebz for this one. FF12 was boring. However, it's a lot better than FF8's Junction system and level averaging the enemies based on your level. That's just dumb. Imagine sitting there Drawing magic for hours >.>

Random question: Why do so many religions use prayer beads? Catholics have the Rosary. Muslims carry Tasbih beads. Hindus and Buddhists use Malas. But when you read the Bible, Jesus never told believers to use objects to reach God. John 4:24 says, “God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” Why do people feel the need for something in their hands when talking to God? What are your thoughts?
