I want to thank our beautiful daughter for her determination to have a good day today. Handing in your final year dissertation is a big deal & should be followed by riotous celebrations with friends. Parents are a poor substitute but she didn’t let it get her down. #soproud

We need to protect our patients from the risk of infection & also protect our practice nurses who currently have the highest volume of Face to Face workload. While we GPs go digital, our nurses have to be in contact with patients for some procedures. We need to keep them safe

The insensitivity of this paper’s headline is astounding, let’s hope it will contribute to its demise. How about showing showing some front page sympathy for the thousands whose loved ones have sadly not survived. At this point we should all count for one and no more than one.

Didn’t realise you were a trustee Bob. Trying to get local authorities to recognise abused women as one of the vulnerable categories of people seems to be having a mixed reception.

Today is our 28th wedding anniversary. So grateful that @TomFarsides is still the person I would most want to be with 24/7. Thankful also for @sethklopp & @ifarsidds who are doing a great job of keeping their olds going. Feeling very lucky in the scheme of things.

My daughter just shared this with me. It is a letter to children currently at the Infant School both my children attended. It is clearly just as wonderful now as it was then. I’m in bits.

Where to begin in challenging this thoughtless and frankly shocking statement from someone who describes herself as a feminist and a doctor? I hope that any ‘bad genes’ I’ve passed on to my children are compensated for by my parental commitment to unconditional love and support.

Men and women who have bad genes with genetic diseases like diabetes, hypertension, cancer etc should not produce children. They have no right to make others suffer.
