@KushtiBokLady My partner was told his colorectal cancer was nothing for 2.5 years. He died last month.

This is my daughter, her symptoms were not taken seriously for 3 years. On Thursday she was told she has cancer. She’s 22 years old. An urgent referral was not made because she’s under 40. Today she has scans to see how far it’s spread in 3 years #bowelcancer #nevertooyoung

Jesus. My sister’s partner, a double transplant patient who has struggled with kidney failure, is in hospital and has apparently been told to prepare for the worst. I don’t know how you even give someone that news, let alone a couple of weeks before Xmas. 😞

So, if you’re reading tech news, you might have heard that Elastic has reduced its workforce by 12% and I am one of those who were let go.

This has been a rough 48 hours for some really amazing people, please help if you can (feel free to reach out to me, I haven’t been let go but can try to coordinate things).

The British record in this federation for my weight class is 190kg. I’d love to chase that next year.

As Twitter is likely going to be gone soon I’ll send one last squat into the void. 175kg which equals my 1RM, and is the heaviest I’ve taken at the end of a peak. Qualifiers in 2 weeks 🤞

@SCRWD At one point I’d waited 4 weeks for a reply only to be told “you’ve not attached what we requested” (I had), it then took another 3 weeks for them to say “oh sorry, I see it”.

@SCRWD Uch, absolute nightmare. I never wanted anything to do with them but the previous owners of the house used them for the FIT stuff. Took them a year just to put it in my name 🙄

Maybe @ScottishPower will respond here (unlikely given they ignore everything else). It took *months* for them to switch the FIT account in to my name. Now they’re just holding the account ransom and refusing to let Octopus transfer it. Truly the worst company I’ve spoken to.

@minxlj Yeah, no complaints really. Once the charger was installed at home it’s been a dream.
