Today, a federal judge dismissed the criminal indictment against Kettering Foundation Senior Fellow and former FBI Director James @Comey. We are encouraged that the independent judiciary acted as a needed check. Politically motivated prosecutions put our democracy in jeopardy by undermining the rule of law and creating an environment of fear to keep others from speaking out. As we did at the outset, the Kettering Foundation continues to stand in solidarity with James Comey and others who demonstrate tremendous courage in defense of democracy.
