Tiger wasn't interested. And Fuzzy was angry at the media, blaming them for "burying him" by writing about what he said (on camera, under the big oak tree). But guess what happened that year? Tiger and Fuzzy got paired together in Round 2!

One of the most interesting things, if you go back and read the newspaper clips of the 1998 Masters, is how strongly the press tried to pressure Tiger into "forgiving" Fuzzy for his fried chicken/collard greens comments in 1997. And how Tiger's response did not satisfy them.

Keegan Bradley should play in the Ryder Cup not just because he’s one of the 12 best Americans, which is obvious, but also his personality. He’s been living this double life on Tour all year and arguably never played better golf. He thrives in the chaos. It’ll fire the team up.

Well, Irish right-wing Twitter are frustrated that Micheál Martin didn't receive a Zelensky style punishment beating. And left-Twitter are angry that he didn't headbutt Trump while shouting "Free Palestine". So it looks like it went as well as could be expected.
