@AlboMP You flooded Australia with migrants and think we have a housing problem.. the youth have no better solution from this budget and you are a fool if you believe it will help.
Treasurer Jim Chalmers will address the public as he delivers the 2026 Federal Budget from Parliament House in Canberra.
Tune in at 7:30pm AEST via the link below.
@BenFordhamLive The liberal party is so stupid they decided to side with gas companies and Labor party rather than 98% of Australians. Imagine not being able to do that math.
The Liberal Party is on the verge of extinction.
They’ve been wiped out at the Farrer by-election.
Is this the end of the Coalition ?

@JEChalmers And Australian business and the individual will be worse off…. If liberals existed I would be confident this would be the end of the worst government in our history.
BREAKING: Our responsible approach in today’s Budget means we’ve improved the bottom line by $45b.
Labor’s responsible economic management means that debt is lower, deficits are smaller and the Budget bottom line is stronger in every year.
We’re getting the Budget in better nick because that helps to fund the things that Australians need and deserve like Medicare, aged care and cost-of-living relief.
Thankfully Australia has @JEChalmers safe guarding our economy.
He is a straight shooter, calling a spade a shovel.
Or in this case, Wilson a tool.
Oops, fool….
We're building an Australia where hard work pays off and everyone has the opportunity to get ahead.
Here in Western Sydney, and right across Australia.
Great to speak to the Future Western Sydney forum this morning.
@JEChalmers Incorrect, your government couldn’t manage the budget before and inflation was rising from government spending.
A refusal to tax gas here to the correct rate give you no ability to blame the war in the Middle East.
New figures from the Australian Bureau of Statistics show that inflation ticked up as expected in the month of March largely because of global pressures.
These numbers show Australians are paying a hefty price for war in the Middle East.
These are the costs and consequences of a conflict on the other side of the world.
It’s another reminder that from an economic point of view, an enduring end to the war can’t come soon enough.
Right now, big tech companies can benefit from Australian journalism without paying their fair share.
We’re taking the next steps to make sure platforms contribute to Australian news.
Because there's no substitute for Australian news and stories told by Australian journalists.

@NRL If you want to support the dragons it’s a rough ride. If you are unlucky enough to go to the game you will watch them put in zero effort. Walking back behind to get behind the play for 3 tackles. Lazy

@D_Melissa2 Let’s say China decided we can’t manage our country and our resources and decide we might have a bit of that. Would you cry to America to protect us? Being allies is helping each other out. Having a leader who can mitigate damage and loss is a win. Aus lose.
