Very sorry to hear of the passing of Dan Coulter, former MLA for Chilliwack. I respect those who choose the often difficult path of public service. I hope his family takes some solace in the contribution he made while serving British Columbians.

Very sad to hear of John Horgan’s passing. While we were political opposites, I did enjoy my personal rapport with him. We enjoyed our legislative battles, but also our lighthearted jokes in the hallways. Our collective Irish heritage may have worked in our favour. I extend my appreciation for his commitment to our province and extend our appreciation to Ellie and his family for the sacrifice I know they made.

I'm deeply concerned about the impacts of this strike on our farmers, supply chains, transportation, and costs of living. There needs to be a quick resolution that respects workers and gets British Columbia's economy moving again. #BCpoli

As synagogues across this country and in our province are being targeted with bomb threats, I stand in support with the Jewish community and say no to hate. We all need to stand against hate in our communities. Staying silent allows hate to fester, so please speak out and report hate when you see it in our community. I call on all British Columbians to support the Jewish Community in its fight against antisemitism.

Very sorry to hear of the passing of my old colleague, Dennis MacKay. Dennis was a highly principled MLA and represented Bulkley Valley-Stikine with great integrity. He was a key member of our BC Liberal government that helped get our province back on track. He also served for many years as an RCMP officer, keeping our communities safe. My thoughts are with his wife Edith and his children and grandchildren at this time. #BCpoli

Just imagine if we could take these billions of dollars in overruns, unnecessarily wasted due to NDP mismanagement, plus the billions in cost overruns on all of the other projects they’ve bungled and apply them to tax relief in the middle of an affordability crisis.
