This might be an unpopular opinion, but the first thing Liverpool need to do this summer is sell Conor Bradley. I love Conor Bradley. He is a great player with a great attitude and a Liverpool academy graduate, but unfortunately this is his third injury of the season after already missing eight matches. The bigger concern is the long term picture. This is now his seventh injury for Liverpool, having already missed 58 matches, and he is only 22. That is not bad luck, it is a pattern. My biggest pet peeve in football, especially at Liverpool, is the habit of holding on to injury prone players and hoping things will somehow change. They never do. I have never seen an injury prone player suddenly stop being injury prone. The smart move is to sell while their stock is high. We have seen this cycle far too many times. Daniel Sturridge, Naby Keïta, Joel Matip, Thiago and Oxlade-Chamberlain all ran their contracts down and left injured on a free. Joe Gomez is another injury prone player and I have no doubt he will eventually follow the same path. Look at Alexander Isak, a £120m injury prone talent who has struggled to stay fit and battled niggles since his transfer and is now out injured for months. Quality means nothing if you cannot rely on availability. Football is ruthless, and sentimentality costs clubs dearly.

"He is only performing because it's the Bundesliga, what he does their should be immediately discounted" Yet the same people worship Hughes and Edwards who decided to spend the bulk of our money in the Summer on players who were performing well in the Bundesliga. Their is big accounts on here that were begging the club to sell Luis Diaz in Summer 2023 to fund a move for Anthony Gordon because of a lack of end product. Diaz went onto have one of the most productive seasons from a LFC winger in Premier League history with 25 goal contributions. But they never forgave him for making them look ridiculous. So when he was been linked to Bayern they were gaslighting you telling you it was the best deal ever for Liverpool, and how Diaz was an old man at 28, most of them were even exaggerating his age saying he was 29 or 30. They told you he wanted to leave and how Gakpo was better anyway both nonsense IMO. They celebrated when we got 75 million for him. Told you he wouldn't be missed. 10 games in that's been shown to be nonsense, we are badly missing Diaz. And they are fuming even more now because he has once again made them look utterly ridiculous with his performances so far for Bayern. You know who they are, and as I said in the Summer selling Diaz and not giving him a new contract was a monumental mistake by the club👍

Did Liverpool make the right decision to sell Diaz??? Only Mbappe and Kane have higher match ratings across the top 5 Leagues than Diaz You know my feelings, I thought it was an awful decision at the time made for financial reasons and I feel even worse about it now 👍

If Klopp had stayed on one more season he'd have won the Premier League in 24/25 with the drop off in City and Arsenal. There was only 2 points difference in our points total in 23/24 (82 points) & 24/25 (84 points). Our goal difference was the exact same. Agree???

If we lose Guéhi to Bayern after already giving them Diaz I'll be absolutely fuming. I think recruitment team of Edwards and Hughes had a nightmare with both. Both would be at Liverpool this season except for poor decisions, and no one is going to change my mind about that👍

My observations on today : -Worst performance of the season -The irony of us losing to a late goal. -Ekitike was really missed. -We have had an issue defending set pieces since Slot arrived. -That's Salah worst start to a season at Liverpool. -Alisson is the best keeper in the world, we have been 4 down at half time if it wasn't for him. -Bradley performance was absolutely shambolic. -Konate performance was even worse😢 We need a new centre back on 1st of January preferably Guéhi. -What's happened MacAllister this season. -Can we please keep Salah off free kicks, how is he taking a free kick ahead of Szoboszlai??? -Please sign Wharton next Summer. -We have no clue what to do with Wirtz, has got going yet, and you can't miss that chance. -Kerkez was decent. -Szoboszlai was one of few good performers today. -I absolutely love Federico Chiesa, wish he had rescued us a point Have I missed anything???

@Corballyred Isak isn't even match fit & not ready, you bring him on & he gets injured. So 100% Slot was right not to have him on the bench

My observations from today : -Gravenberch was our best player by a mile. -Not having Isak on the bench was a mistake by Slot but that moment of madness from Hannibal got us out jail. -Salah hasn't got going this season, seems to be really struggling to beat a man. - Ngumoha is a bigger threat than Gakpo who is so predictable and cuts in nearly every single time. -MacAllister looked jaded after his exploits with Argentina, terrible tackle on him first half. -That dive my Kerkez 🫢can't lie I'm slightly concerned with him so far. -Wirtz was better second half but still to see the best of him. -Van Dijk was very good again.

@Corballyred His not starting, not a chance. Even if he is sharp, Liverpool will bed him in properly. Wouldn't surprise me one bit if his on the bench for the 1st 3 games & maybe start him in the League Cup & maybe get 60 minutes or even 70 & take him off then

I'd have given Palace the 40 million they originally wanted for Guéhi and not left it till the last day of the window. Watching him for England last night suspect we will have strong competition for his signature next Summer 👍
