🤝✅ Après d’intenses négociations, nous venons d’obtenir au #G7 un accord sur la sortie du charbon d’ici la première moitié de la décennie 2030. À la COP28, le Président @EmmanuelMacron avait appelé à l’adoption d’un calendrier précis de sortie des énergies fossiles. Le G7 a pris acte de cette nécessité. Pour la France, ça sera 2027.

Big news from #G7 in Turin with Japan agreeing coal phase out before 2035 Hopefully Japan will also halt its attempts to delay coal phase out across SE-Asia by promoting ammonia co-firing & focus instead on accelerating renewables & efficiency deployment

BREAKING: #G7 agree to phase out domestic coal during the first half of 2030s. This will help accelerate the shift of investment from coal to clean technology in particular in Japan and more broadly in the whole Asian coal economy, including China and India.
