A compendium of Pilot Rules (Number 30 is Gospel in Fighters). 1. The only three things a wingman should ever say are: “Two's up. “ “Lead, you're on fire.” “I'll take the fat chick.” 2. In a multi-place aircraft, there are only three things the copilot should ever say: “Nice landing, Sir.” “I'll buy the first round.” “I'll take the fat chick.” 3. As a new copilot on a bomber I was told to say these three things and to otherwise keep my mouth shut and not touch anything: “Clear on the right.” “Outer (marker) on the double (indicator).” “I'll eat the chicken.” (Crew meals consisted of one steak and one chicken to avoid possible food poisoning of the cockpit crew). 4. As an aviator in flight you can do anything you want. As long as it's right. And we'll let you know if it's right after you land. 5. You can't fly forever without getting killed. 6. As a pilot only two bad things can happen to you and one of them will: One day you will walk out to the aircraft knowing that it is your last flight in an airplane. One day you will walk out to the airplane not knowing that it is your last flight in an airplane. 7. Any flight over water in a single engine airplane will absolutely guarantee abnormal engine noises and vibrations. 8. There are Rules and there are Laws. The rules are made by men who think that they know better how to fly your airplane than you; the Laws (of Physics) were made by God. You can, and sometimes should, suspend the Rules but you can never suspend the Laws. 9. More about Rules: The rules are a good place to hide if you don't have a better idea and the talent to execute it. If you deviate from a rule, it must be a flawless performance. (e.g., If you fly under a bridge, don't hit the bridge.) 10. The pilot is the highest form of life on earth. 11. The ideal pilot is the perfect blend of discipline and aggressiveness. 12. About check rides: The only real objective of a check ride is to complete it and get the bastard out of your airplane. It has never occurred to any flight examiner that the examinee couldn't care less what the examiner's opinion of his flying ability really is. 13. The medical profession is the natural enemy of the aviation profession. 14. The job of the Wing Commander is to worry incessantly that his career depends solely on the abilities of his aviators to fly their airplanes without mishap and that their only minuscule contribution to the effort is to bet their lives on it. 15. Ever notice that the only experts who decree that the “age of the manned flight” is over are people who have never flown anything? Also, in spite of the intensity of their feelings that the pilot's day is over I know of no such expert who has volunteered to be a passenger in a non-piloted aircraft. 16. It is absolutely imperative that the pilot be unpredictable. Rebelliousness is very predictable. In the end, conforming almost all the time is the best way to be unpredictable. 17. He who demands everything that his aircraft can give him is a pilot; he that demands one iota more is a fool. 18. If you're gonna fly low, do not fly slow! ASW pilots know this only too well. (Amen) 19. It is solely the pilot's responsibility to never let any other thing touch his aircraft. 20. If you can learn how to fly as a 2nd Lt and not forget how to fly by the time you're a Maj. you will have lived a happy life. 21. About night flying: - Remember that the airplane doesn't know that it's dark. - On a clear, moonless night, never fly between the tanker's lights. - There are certain aircraft sounds that can only be heard at night. - If you're going to night fly, it might as well be in the weather so you can double count your exposure to both hazards. - Night formation is really an endless series of near misses in equilibrium with each other. - You would have to pay a lot of money at a lot of amusement parks and perhaps add a few drugs, to get the same blend of psychedelic sensations as a single-engine night flight in weather. 22. One of the most important skills that a pilot must develop is the skill to ignore those things that were designed by non-pilots to get the pilot's attention. 23. At the end of the day, the controllers, ops supervisors, maintenance guys, weather guessers, and birds are all trying to kill you and your job is to not let them. 24. The concept of "controlling" airspace with radar is just a form of FAA sarcasm directed at pilots to see if they're gullible enough to swallow it. Or to put it another way, when's the last time the FAA ever shot anyone down? 25. Remember that the radio is only an electronic suggestion box for the pilot. Sometimes the only way to clear up a problem is to turn it off. 26. It is a tacit, yet profound admission of the preeminence of flying in the hierarchy of the human spirit, that those who seek to control aviators via threats always threaten to take one's wings and not one's life. 27. Remember when flying low and inverted that the rudder still works the same old way but hopefully your flight instructor never taught you "pull stick back, plane go up". 28. Mastering the prohibited maneuvers in the NATOPS Manual is one of the best forms of aviation life insurance you can get. 29. A tactic done twice is a procedure (refer to unpredictability discussion above). 30. The aircraft G-limits are only there in case there is another flight by that particular airplane. If subsequent flights do not appear likely, there are no G-limits. 31. One of the beautiful things about a single piloted aircraft is the quality of the social experience. 32. If a mother has the slightest suspicion that her infant might grow up to be a pilot, she had better teach him to put things back where he got them. 33. The ultimate responsibility of the pilot is to fulfill the dreams of the countless millions of earthbound ancestors who could only stare skyward ...and wish.

@dom_lucre The Bible makes no such claim. Only the Quran says that. That's because Satan knows the scriptures and knows men. Satan hid who he was, twisted the word of God and specifically appealed to Mohammed and men's basest instincts. He said kill the Jews, kill Christians and you get sex.

The EU No Longer Holds Back 🇪🇺🚨 I was just arrested at Munich Airport and prevented from leaving the country. My fundamental right to freedom of movement has been violated because I allegedly threaten the reputation of the Federal Republic of Germany. Right before the Remigration Summit, they’re panicking. They’ve already lost every single debate and the culture war. Every European can see the devastating consequences of the population replacement with his own eyes. So they’re playing their final card: raw repression. They’re trying to jail Dries Van Langenhove, and now they’ve stopped me from leaving my own country. They want to scare millions of patriots into submission before they vote for change. But there’s one thing they forgot in their desperation: repression backfires. Every unjust arrest and every violation of our rights only draws more attention to our cause and brings more people to our side. But this only works with your help. Make them pay: share this post. Tell everyone what’s happening. And most importantly, join the debate and support @RESUM26. Because that is precisely what they are trying, and failing, to silence!

I love Jason Statham because he never really gets beaten up by women, so I gave his newest movie “Shelter” a look. The plot: A retired MI6 assassin in hiding rescues a young girl, exposing his location and forcing him to fight off enemies from his past. His biggest enemy is the female empowerment script: The girl Statham rescued keeps attacking him with her FEELINGS. There's a FEMALE Prime Minister who ousts the male MI-6 chief… …And replaces him with a BLACK FEMALE. The intelligence analyst tracking Statham is FEMALE. And even the British surveillance system is named “THEA.” Statham kicks some major ass in this one, but it's obvious the main character is RADICAL FEMINISM. If you watch Jason Statham for the uber-masculine energy, watch any of his other movies instead. The gender politics in this are just too distracting.

🇩🇪 The Left Party in Germany has submitted a motion to allow foreigners to vote in German elections, provided they have lived legally in Germany for at least five years. They argue that the current system does not reflect Germany’s character as a country of immigrants. According to the Basic Law, only Germans can vote in Bundestag elections, but The Left argues that some parts of the Basic Law use the term “people” rather than explicitly “German people,” meaning voting rights could be extended to foreigners.

So @SpeakerJohnson wants a RAISE. Let me get this straight. Congressional salary has been "frozen since 2009," adjusted for inflation they're making 31% less than they were back then, and the SACRIFICE of coming to Washington is just too much to bear on $174,000 a year. I understand. That is genuinely heartbreaking. Somebody please call a telethon. Meanwhile, I am a medically retired Army combat medic, supporting a family of six on a teacher's salary, and the government is still docking my retirement every single month because of the concurrent receipt offset that the Major Richard Star Act would fix. You know, H.R. 2102. The bill with 300-plus House co-sponsors. The one with the discharge petition H.Res. 1247 sitting there waiting for signatures. ZERO Republicans have signed it. Not one. But sure. Let's talk about YOUR salary. The 119th Congress has been in session roughly 185-195 days out of 510 calendar days since January 2025. That is about 36-38% of the time. They have produced 93 laws. NINETY-THREE. No MRSA. No SAVE Act. No H.Res. 1247 signatures. But the sacrifice is ENORMOUS, and we simply must compensate accordingly. Here is what I did not include in my Earned Stripes Act article -- and honestly, it was an oversight -- because I forgot about the BARRACKS. If congressional salary is tied to military pay, congressional HOUSING should be tied to military housing. Bunk beds. Two to a room, minimum. Health and welfare inspections. Monthly. Unannounced. White gloves on the window sills, gentlemen. And, naturally, Operation Golden Flow once a month at zero-dark-thirty because that is what we do to the people whose pay these folks keep voting on. You want to be called a public servant, you get the FULL package. Chow hall food included. No Uber Eats. 93 laws. 510 days. 54,000 combat-wounded veterans still getting their retirement stolen. Not a single Republican signature on H.Res. 1247. Read the full article below. The EARNED STRIPES ACT proposes a solution that would clarify things considerably for everyone involved. @MajorStarAct @StarActEnemies @JoJoFromJerz @catturd2 @GuntherEagleman IF you agree: LIKE this post so the algorithm shows it to people who need to read it. SHARE this -- every set of eyes matters. COMMENT below -- what do YOU think Congress should earn? Tell me. And if you want MORE of this -- the data, the history, the science, the stories -- JOIN Bski's Classroom community on X or YouTube. But what do I know -- I am only someone who worked 36 consecutive hours between paramedic shifts and college classes to earn the right to teach Physics, and apparently cannot do basic math well enough to figure out how 93 laws in 510 days justifies a raise. #MAGA #Veterans #Trump

Do you know the MiG-21’s secret? It never tried to be the "best" fighter. It simply focused on being "good enough." By prioritizing simplicity over perfection, it became the most-produced supersonic fighter in history - the AK-47 of the skies - and give over 60 nations a multi-role fighter that was actually affordable, reliable, and lethal. For me, the nimble MiG-21 is, and forever will, be the most iconic jet of the Cold War. What’s your pick?

Karl Urban's resume shouldn't be real. Lord of the Rings. Star Trek. Star Wars. Marvel. He's the only living actor who's appeared in all four of the biggest sci-fi franchises in cinema history. Combined box office north of $5 billion. In Ragnarok he shaved his head, gained 20 pounds of bulk, and played a coward who dies holding twin assault rifles named "Des" and "Troy." In The Boys he spent five seasons as the most compelling antihero on television, and the final episode aired six days ago. In between those two roles he starred in Dredd. The entire film. Never removed the helmet. The audience never saw his eyes. Most actors at his level would have demanded the reveal. Urban kept it on because that's what the character required. He started on Xena: Warrior Princess in New Zealand. Taika Waititi called him for Ragnarok and said he'd be working with Cate Blanchett. Urban's response: "Sign me up. I don't need to read anything." $20 million net worth across a career where he's never been the lead franchise face. Always the second or third name on the poster. Always in a different body. The Kiwi character actor who quietly assembled the most impossible filmography in Hollywood and nobody talks about it because he disappears into every role. That's the whole trick. You can't recognize him because he's actually acting.

Amid the relentless tide of Ferrari Luce images saturating our feeds, may I offer a gentle palette cleanser.... A moment of aesthetic grace? A rebellion in defense of beauty and soul? You'll have to go to Bali. There in Gianyar, you will find an artisanal workshop that handcrafts stunning aluminum replicas of iconic classic cars from the 1950s and 1960s. Icons such as the Porsche 356/550, Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Gullwing, Aston Martin DB5 / DB4, Toyota 2000GT and the BMW 507 These are not cheap fiberglass kits or superficial replicas. They use hand formed aluminum body panels hammered over wooden bucks, often starting from digitized original drawings. Every detail is fabricated in-house, including the bodywork, hinges, buttons, gauges, and interior trim. Many builds take over 10,000 hours of work. The studio produces extremely limited runs (around 5 cars per year) with nearly everything made in-house by a small team of Balinese craftsmen.

It’s remarkable. Muslim men. Both the ones in the Middle East and the ones who fled from there to the West. They’re all suddenly very busy telling us that it’s the Jews who are “killing people.” While the rest of us, those who actually keep our eyes open, know what Islam stands for in our time. The extermination of Christians in Syria. Entire villages slaughtered, churches burned down, women turned into sex slaves under ISIS. The extermination of the Yazidis in Iraq. Genocide, recognized by the UN. Thousands of women and girls sold at markets. The Houthis’ terror in Yemen. War, starvation, forced marriages of underage girls. The Iranian clerical regime’s executions of women, homosexuals, apostates, protesters. Children hanged from cranes. Hamas’ massacre on October 7th. Civilians murdered in their beds. Children burned alive. Women raped next to corpses. Christians persecuted in Egypt, Nigeria, Pakistan, Sudan. Every year. Every single year. And I haven’t even mentioned our own here in the West. Bataclan. Nice. Manchester Arena. Berlin. London Bridge. Stockholm. Brussels. Drammen. Rotherham. Cologne. Telford. The girls in Britain who were systematically raped by grooming gangs while the police looked the other way to avoid seeming racist. But you know what the worst part is? That quite a few of our own ethnic people… walk right alongside them. Shout their slogans. Back them in their Jew hatred. So let’s get one thing straight. The real threat isn’t and never was the Jews. They make up around 15 million people in the entire world. 0.2 percent of the earth’s population. A small people who keep to themselves, practice their faith, raise their children, build, create, contribute. The threat is Islam. 2 billion. An ideology with a declared mission, written in black and white in their book, which they don’t even try to hide: to take over the world. Subjugate all and everything under sharia. Until the last infidel is converted, subdued, or dead. This isn’t a conspiracy theory. It’s their own doctrine. Read it.

The internet is currently locked in a fierce debate over a shocking situation unfolding behind bars. Ricky Wassenaar, an inmate already serving 16 life sentences following a 2004 standoff, has stunned authorities at the Arizona State Prison. On April 4, 2025, an incident occurred resulting in the loss of three lives within the facility—specifically targeting individuals convicted of serious crimes. Because Wassenaar was already facing a permanent future behind bars, the situation has ignited a massive divide in public opinion. While officials are investigating how a security breach of this magnitude was possible, many online are framing his actions through a complex moral lens, with some even questioning if the justice system failed to protect the general population from the individuals involved. This raises an uncomfortable question: When someone with nothing left to lose takes extreme action against specific high-profile inmates, how should we process the fallout? Is this a total failure of prison oversight, or does it reflect a deeper, darker sentiment about justice that society is afraid to discuss? Is there ever a "right" side to a situation like this, or is this just a chaotic breakdown of the system?
