@perfectedmax If I remember correctly, speed finally gets the courage to ask him if he's Rex, and then Rex just punches him in the gut and walks off, the last we see of him in the series lmao

@matthewjamesali Of course it is. Just as Korean, Canadian, Japanese, English, Irish, Sudanese, Dutch - they are all ethnicities. Some of them are races too. We all come from somewhere.

@TheIshikawaRin I don't care about the epilogue at all but I think I'm the only one that enjoyed the modern day story with the Sage. I enjoyed the twist and all. I'm slightly disappointed that the new version won't have that. But you can't have everything in life I guess.

After replaying Assassin's Creed 4 for about 6 hours so far I think it would be absolutely moronic to remove the modern day sections from this game in the remake. This game serves as an epilogue to the series' main story and gives great insight into what happened after AC3

@EO_Halloran I have to say that out of all the LARPers on this site, he's my favourite. Sticks to the bit 100% of the time, never backs down.

The British used to make films with significant artistic risk like The Wicker Man and Penda's Fen now we make crap with names like "the bountiful pilgrimage of mr harold pettyfeather" and "the naughty penguin project"
Catherine Warr@HiddenYorkshire

Watching Educating Rita. God we used to make some good stuff. Now everything is 'heartwarming' and starring Jim Broadbent and Imelda Staunton with an indie acoustic soundtrack and a plot about a dysfunctional community overcoming hurdles together and called The Great Scruffthorpe Choir Project

@HaileyFlemx @A7_1888 @UlsterTillDeath I think the difference is that you quote tweeted a highly political account who acts less as a voice for protestants and more of a Jim Allister fanboy lmao

@A7_1888 @UlsterTillDeath I’m Protestant and I genuinely don’t care where the chocolate is produced as long as the taste is there. What’s the charge? Eating a succulent bar of Cadbury golden crisp?

@mercynomore Sorry to hear it boss. They’re a very vocal yet tiny minority of the people in Ireland. For what it’s worth, you won’t interface with these people at all once you’re in Maynooth.

In 1534 Henry VIII put harps on coins in Ireland, in 1541 he used the harp as the national seal of his Irish colonial possessions. Obviously the harp itself is Gaelic, but its use as a nationwide symbol for Ireland was initially a british thing.
Irish Sea Border@HibernianSea

@Frank_Connolly_ The harp is the oldest national symbol we have.

@HibernianSea @Grassdia @KevinPGTL I'll accept it in that context as a trade off because, one, it has Gaeilge on it, and two, the Gaeilge is a pretty defiant and militant phrase 'Ireland forever' or more beautifully 'Ireland until the end of time'.
