High school coaching has to get back to its roots — developing young men. Winning matters, yes. We all want to win. But growth matters just as much. The harsh reality of football is 96–97% of these kids won’t play after high school. Make their experience something they remember forever. @KyleNewmanDP @denverpost The abundance of transfers has an impact on community support too. The boys that grew up in the neighborhood aren’t the ones the community sees on the field. I’ve lived in numerous states and the attendance at Colorado HS football games is easily the lowest.
