a few thoughts on the current situation with @base and $toshi... i’ve been a toshi holder for almost 3 yrs now, and it’s been a genuinely wild ride. i watched toshi grow from a newly taken over cto with an unknown future on a brand new chain, into the flagship meme of base. along the way it earned listings on multiple t1 exchanges, including @coinbase , @Bybit_Official and @okx , and even outperformed $btc in trading volume on coinbase multiple times after listing. wat makes that even more impressive is that it was achieved with very little, if any, meaningful support from base or coinbase. toshi succeeded on its own merit, bc of @CocosLair insane drive to make the project succeed, and bc of a community that refused to stop believing in wat it could become. none of it came easily. there were many, many hurdles along the way. toshi has survived multiple 90%+ dumps, periods where sentiment felt completely dead, and moments where ppl were convinced the story was over. every time, it came back stronger. there have also been plenty of moments where the spotlight shifted away from toshi. sometimes it was bc of a new kid on the block, and other times it genuinely felt like base was trying to direct attention and holders towards almost anything except toshi. the current, and imo accurate, fud surrounding base, combined with the wild success of $cashcat and the excitement around @RobinhoodApp chain, feels like another part of that same cycle. most of the attention is somewhere else right now. meanwhile, coco and toshi are quietly cooking in the background, waiting for the right moment to shine again. remember that coco said he’s working on something that will be the most impactful development for toshi since its inception. we also know there’s a lot happening behind the scenes that hasn’t been announced yet. i rly wouldn’t be surprised if, wen the wider market heats up again, we see multiple announcements begin to land within a relatively short period of time. jesse acknowledging that they majorly fucked up, and saying he’ll focus on building while leaving more of the promotion of base to @cobie , is at least a step in the right direction. if they genuinely listen, make meaningful changes and rebuild some trust with the community, there’s a good chance base can become a fun chain again. either way, my long-term conviction in $toshi hasn’t changed. still here. still watching them build. still bullish.

the cat supercycle is imminent imo my bets? toshi:native on $ETH & solana:7GCihgDB8fe6KNjn2MYtkzZcRjQy3t9GHdC8uHYmW2hr on $SOL just look at their charts below… major drawdowns from all time highs in large support & accumulation zones I have been mainly a @Toshi and @ethereum bull for as long as my account has been active, but getting some @solana exposure with @popcatworld just makes sense at these levels tbh cats going to absolutely rip at some point
