@thelinuxcast So I have to ask this, if you had to do it all over again, would you pick a Pixel 7 Pro or a Samsung Galaxy S22?

My initial impression of the #Pixel 7 Pro is that it was really slow to start off with, lots of stuttering and dropped frames. And it takes a lot to get me to notice that. But it's gotten better in the last hour or so, so I'm guessing there was stuff going on in the (1/2)

@thelinuxcast I lost the use of a couple of keys on the thinkpad, had to hook up a keyboard. Great times.

Just had my whole computer freeze. Couldn't even get to a TTY. I don't think I've ever had that happen on #Linux before.

@thelinuxcast I have Cricket wireless too. It does pretty well in the Appalachian mountains, a lot better than AT&T,Verizon, and the local provider Appalachian Wireless.

@thelinuxcast Yeah, that doesn't make any sense to me. If you were able to create a root password for the root user, then you should be able to access the root account. I'd keep a Fedora flash drive nearby.

So I did manage to chroot in, and create a root password. But it's still wouldn't let me log in. I have a feeling I'm going to be reinstalling..

Anyone know what this means or how to fix it? I'm on :fedora:

@thelinuxcast I'm on one of those cheap Android phones at the moment, but I want one of those Samsung Galaxy Note phones, I always wanted a phone with a stylus (reminds me of the old Palm Pilots).

So after sending my OnePlus phone back, I went back to my Samsung S21+. Now I remember why I bought a new phone. This battery is terrible. Gonna need to do something. Either get the battery replaced or decide on a new phone. The issue is, I've decided I don't want to (1/2)

Apparently, to download the Nemo file manager on #Fedora, you need to download all of Cinnamon desktop and everything that goes with it.
