cams also do not convect the dryline well so the fact that there is some bit of consistency in this is something that is really making me lift an eyebrow.

I expect some things to change, but Friday has outbreak potential. The HRRR has our first look below. Expect things to change, but goodness. That box sounding in eastern Wisconsin shows a gnarly environment for tornadoes, with very high instability, good hodograph with proper venting, with decent mixing overall.
It won't only be the Midwest tho, as we are still expecting severe weather with widespread tornado activity across the parts of the central US.
More info/updates coming tomorrow. We will also have 2 SPC outlook updates tomorrow (early morning/afternoon). Stay glued to the forecast if you are in the risk area.

The coaches and parents who allow this to go on are the problem. Instead of teaching kids how to play the game the right way and show respect for the opponent they’re worried about getting viral attention. Embarrassing.

A lot of my thoughts on Tuesday remain on track as of yesterday. One main update is that the dryline shear vector orientation seems more favorable for discrete supercells, and a categorical upgrade of the dryline may be warranted in the 1630z outlook.

Friday may be trending to a severe weather outbreak, with solid ensemble agreement on a favorable general flow pattern, along a dryline with a QPF Signal. Deterministics do show a quite favorable environment in OK/KS, which is where i would suspect a 30% to be outlined tomorrow.
